Disclaimer: Rose are red, violets are blue, I'm not Erin Hunter, and neither are you!
So this is a poem (duh!) by one of my friends. I helped him write it, so it's partly mine. This was entered in a 'contest' on a Warriors role-play website as the life story of his character, Phantombreeze.
I had a mate once, a family too.
What would you do if they were taken from you?
My brother killed them all, to prove his worth.
What would you do if their blood stained the earth?
Lily fought to the last; her throat was then sliced.
What would you do if your family was slaughtered like mice?
Ghost was the brave one, he lunged at his uncle.
What would you do if his uncle had chuckled?
Little Rosie and Hallow, crushed like little twigs.
What would you do if your kits didn't live?
The youngest of all, his pain was acute.
What would you do if your son was a mute?
I was knocked out, my shame unrivaled.
What would you do if you failed new arrivals?
When I came to, my son was gone.
What would you do if you knew he would never see dawn?
So, to this day, I search the lands.
What would you do for a son just like you?
