She met him in class. He was new and she showed him around, dazzled by his sparkling blue eyes. They became friends very soon. Everyone knew them. Kairi and Roxas. Roxas and Kairi.
Four Years Later

Roxas walked beside her, his blonde, spiky hair waving in the breeze. His eyes were focussed on the street. Kairi's eyes were fixed on the street as well. She didn't dare to look up.
She had to tell him… tonight.
"Roxas?" she asked him silently, softly and hesitating.
He looked up, his blue eyes looking into hers.
"Yeah?"
She swallowed loudly. "Can I ask you something?"
"Of course"
She took a deep breath. "Do I ever cross your mind?"
"No"
Autsh, that was hard. Well, she wasn't finished her questions…
"Do you like me?" Her eyes looked down, afraid of rejection.
"No"
"Would you cry if I left?" still trying…
"No"
"Do you want me?" She knew the answer already…
"No"
"Would you choose me or your life?" she asked, desperate.
"My life, definitely"
"Would… would you live for me?" her last question.
"No"
She felt the tears burn in her eyes.
"I've heard enough then… I guess" she said with a strangled voice.
Kairi turned and walked off, didn't want him to see her cry. He didn't cry when she left, after all.
"Wait!" It was Roxas, running to her. "Kairi, please!"
But she walked on. She felt his warm hand around her wrist and he turned her to him.
"Don't you want to know why I said no?"
She stared at him, not able to speak.
"You never cross my mind, because you didn't left in the first place" Roxas' hand was still around her wrist. Her eyes were in tears again. Roxas placed his hands aside of her face and wiped them away.
"I don't like you because I love you" he said while kissing her lightly on her forehead.
"I wouldn't cry if you left, because I couldn't if you really did. I would be dead and buried"
Roxas still hold her face. Kairi couldn't say a word.
"I only chose my life because you are my life" He flashed her another smile, still looking in her eyes.
"I won't live for you because I'm willing to die for you" He pulled her closer and pressed his lips onto hers.
(A/N This is a chain mail I get a lot lately and I got a great idea for a oneshot!
I will maybe do this too in SoKai style… which will be pretty the same as this for the SoKai fans :D
I'm one of them too and I have to apologize to Sora for making him a jerk in most of my Roxiri stories xD)
