"You don't hate me, superhero? Don't want to lock me away and sallow the copper key?"

The movie went on without us; our voices were whispers in each others ears.

Important words in such a small and quiet place, life changing words spoken in whispers in-between gun shoots and expulsions.

I could barely see her blond hair and pretty face in the darkness of the theater, the only thing I could make out was her shining blue eyes.

"Never, you see I give people second changes I don't judge them. So far you have the superhero discount, Miss Bishop."

The movie was one about romance that could never have happened in real life, cheesy and fake, far from the life that we lead, too normal. But it was her choice and this was her first movie theater trip, seeing blood and guts might not be the right choose.

"Why thank you Mr. Kent."

"Shh!"

Elle let loose the biggest giggle she could and making her words turn into loud whispers. She grabbed on to my hand, pulling me along with her.

"This movie sucks anyway."

Smiles big and lovely, she makes me feel like I could fly to the moon and back, something Lana could never do.

Her lips spill her secrets to me one at a time, all her bad things all her sins that she hopes I can wash away. We have truth and love, we have it all.

"Fly me away, my superhero, fly me to heaven and back."

I had her in my arms, our feet floating above the ground letting myself fill up with air so I could fly, fly her away from this world.

"I don't think I can make it to heaven, but I know a place that's just like it."

Her fingers wrapped around me, and the clouds are our best friends as I fly right past them our lips drying from the wind.

She makes me fly, she lets me soar.
