Jenny rushed around, the small TARDIS book in her hand. She now knew the basic events of the Doctor's - her dad's - life for the next 10 years. And she needed to find a way back to him in that time.
She yelled with excitement as she found the perfect spot. Messaline. All she had to do was a bit of jiggery pokery, borrow that vortex hopper her mum had and she was off. Once she'd said good bye to her mum of course. She had quite a close relationship with her mum, and had heard stories about her dad from a young age. At first Jenny thought her dad was an alien, and then she realised the truth. He was a super-hero as well. Saving planets on a daily basis, with his faithful companion. (Her mum made some reference about Shiver and Shake whenever she mentioned being his "companion.")
Jenny said good bye to her mum as she left her forever. Her mum was in no fit state to come with her. Her mum had a heart problem, although she never went into the specifics. She said the only thing that kept her heart going was her beautiful daughter, and she hoped Jenny would find her dad one day. So Jenny was fulfilling her mum's dream, promising that she would return. Her mum merely shook her head slowly, asking her never to come back looking for her.
