I'm writing this for my friend Thats-A-Morray of Deviantart as part of her OTP challenge. This is for #18: Resurrecting the dead. Sorta.
Ladybug lifted the gun, aimed, and fired all thirteen of the bullets. Afterwards, she launched a barrage of attacks at the sacrifice. The poor mirror didn't do anything to deserve this, but that didn't matter to her. Breaking a mirror brought you seven years of bad luck, right? Then she'd just have to break enough mirrors as to bring a lifetime's worth of misfortune.
She stopped in her kicking, punching, and other forms of assault of the mirror when she saw the flattened bullets on the ground. She touched it, realizing that there was not a single scratch. If she could not scratch it, then how could she break it? How could she ever bring bad luck to her? How could she ever bring him back to her?
If she couldn't bring him back to her, then, bad luck would never again beg her to kiss him, or grab her hand at the most awkward of moments. He wouldn't ever randomly start purring up against her, nor would he ever mess her up in an unplanned and unwanted stroke of bad luck. She would be the perfect hero. She would be completely on top of everything, and she knew how
"Tikki," she said aloud. "What do I do?"
"Go home and stop trying to bring him back," came the reply. "What you're doing completely goes against the rules of altruism."
"To hell with altruism!" She yanked the earrings out of her ears, and threw them into the street. Afterwards, she punched the mirror with all her might. She didn't think of it as punching the mirror, however. She was punching the stupid girl who couldn't figure out his identity until it was too late, who could realize how much she loved him until it was too late. She punched the stupid girl who couldn't keep her partner alive.
Glass flew out from the now-shattered mirror, cutting her arm and face. Marinette clutched her bleeding hand and looked around. Where was he? Surely Chat Noir, surely Adrien would come back to her, right?
