When two worlds meet
(A.N. Fred weasley did not die in my little fan-fic)
"I promise nothing's going to hurt or bite you geez would you move your feet!" rose scolded at him as they approached the burrows front door. Scorpius Malfoy was about to enter the burrow. His girlfriend's home. The very home that he knew deep down was unwelcome to him. As the door seem to become bigger and him smaller he dug his heels deeper into the ground.
Rose sighed frustrated, she tried to claim more patience from deep inside her but found there was very little left. Her best friend Nancy linker wouldn't believe her if she told her what Scorpius was doing at this very moment. Sure the whole school believes that Scorpius is emotionless, silent, and cold. But Rose Weasley knew better. She knew darn well that appearances were very deceiving. After dating Scorpius for a month she knew for a fact that her Malfoy was a marshmallow.
The opening of the front door snapped rose back from her thoughts. The threshold beheld two identical uncles with matching grins, mischief in their shining warm brown eyes. "Well Rosie about time you got here! We were starving" said Fred. Rose smiled at her favorite uncles and heard Scorpius gulp from behind her.
"Lookie Fred! She brought her Malfoy! Let's show him the weasley hospitality for new guests!" spoke George as he grabbed Scorpius's left hand while his twin grabbed his right. They dragged the blonde boy into the house and started questioning him cheerfully. Rose went after them, wondering if bringing Scorpius to have dinner with her family was one of her best ideas.
"So Scorpius what's your intentions with our niece?" asked Fred smiling but seriousness dripped from his tone as they through the hallway that lead to the kitchen here the rest of the weasley's were waiting. Before the blonde could answer George fired a question at him and merlin was he not ready to answer.
"Take good care of her ok? Or hear from the weasley twins." He said winking at him and both went to take their seats at the table. Scorpius was left standing mid hallway, nerves on end and racking so hard rose could practically hear them as she approached him. Rose knew her uncles didn't mean any harm but they could push it at times. She entertained her fingers with his and they both shared a glance that reassured them both. With a bit more confidence they started walking towards the small crowded kitchen.
"OK remain calm, don't say and or do anything stupid, and...Uhh…JUST REMAIN CALM!" Scorpius chided himself attempting to evade an inner turmoil. Rose squeezed his hand and he returned it. They finally made it into the kitchen. What was roughly, about a 2 minute walk from the door to the kitchen felt like a million miles.
Pairs of eyes were burning holes at them as they entered, but Scorpius was surprised when he meets most of them and they weren't with disgust or distaste. They shined with welcome and curiosity, with a hint of happiness. He flashed them a grin which they returned.
"Alright everybody, the lasagna is ready to go! Scorpius, rose dears take a seat!" molly weasley said as she carried steaming delicious lasagna to the table. The smell of the wonderful food enveloped the small kitchen as mouths started to water.
"Tuck in!" molly said happily at the hunger in everyone's eyes. Hearing this, they gladly did while molly sat next to her husband.
"This didn't go that bad as I thought it would." Rose muttered to herself
"THIS LASANGA IS DELISIOUS! THERES A PARTY IN MY MOUTH!" thought Scorpius excitedly.
