I was worthless.

I was a begging.

I was beaten.

I couldn't handle it.

Until I met Her.

- - Back story - -

I was homeless for all my life. I lived in Wall Maria,my family was killed and I managed to escape. I was about fourteen at the time. I was a different person. I wasn't normal. I didn't want to stay in the walls. It was hell. Stuck in there. No home. No food. No friends. But I always saw this one kid... It hurt... A little angry kid. Obsessed with going or living outside the walls. When we were at that camp... He was with his two friends. I couldn't really forget him. He had something different about him.

A little after I was at the camp something happened. I met this one girl when the walls were broken down. She was different. While everyone else was crying and grieving but she seemed a little more...positive. She became my best friend. She was 17 at the name was Leia. She was amazing. We got to the point where we couldn't be separated. We did everything together and I thought that we could just have a life outside... Together. A few weeks after she said she was joining the Survey Corps. She said she wanted to protect people and explore the world. I didn't want to see her leave.. I said I'd join. Little did I know that I was making the worst mistake of my life... But I wanted to be with her. But she said that there was someone her family new and there was something arranged. The advantage of joining is that you get food and shelter.

"I'm joining too." I said as Leia smiled and hugged me. You know she's pretty short for her age compared to me... "I'm glad that you're going to be with me." She replies now with tears in her eyes. "N-no no! Please don't cry!" I said slightly panicking. She wiped her tears away. Oh god why is she so cute. "Training is starting soon.. Are we ready?", I said in a calm tone. "Yes.",she replied.

Training was hard, but we got through on the first try and it was amazing. That one guy who trained us was pretty intimidating too. Training's first day was the hardest.
