A/N Hello i am maxmartian this is part of my young justice series. the series take place in alternate realities to the actual show. i do NOT own young justice or any other DC characters. if i did then there would be another season and then some. if you like this then tell my what you like in a review. now on with the story.

batman: we have reason to believe that the mayor of gotham is going to be assassinated tomorrow. you mission is to keep watch over him from afar. ONLY break cover when they are ready to strike. they call themselves the core. they take meta's at a young age then train them to be assassins. they are trained to not stop. therefore they are deadly to others and themselves. a part of your mission is to integrate the name of the leader and the leaders whereabouts. meggan prepare the bioship. she nods and they set off for gotham. artimies: what kind of monster kidnaps little kids to train them?! she breaks the silence. aqualad: we should try our best to knock them out as painless as possible. they all nod. they arrive at gotham. robin:anyone else feel like they are being...watched? they all nod. meggan sets up a telepathic link. meggan: its one of them..the assassins. meggan: he isn't evil and he's really scared what should we do? artimies: how tough can he be? robin: stay on alert. they walk over to see a boy who looked to be about ten with a hood up and a bow loaded and aiming right for them. his arms were shaking. the boy: i-i'll shoot! meggan: don't worry we wont hurt you... she moves closer and the boy moves his bow over in her direction. artmies: its awfully cold out here...don't you want a jacket? the boy: m-maybe..-quietly-. artimies: well we have a few spares in the ship don't we ms.m? meggan: oh yes we do. artimies: just lower you bow and come with us. after a few moments he lowered his bow and they led him to the inside of the ship. when the boy got on the ship he lowered his hood. artimies: LARRY! she hugged him tightly and he has a confused look on his face. artimies: d-don't you remember me or mom? he shakes his head. artimies: look im your older sister dad took you when you were really young. larry: sportmaster is my dad? artimies: yes but not a very good one... she feels his forehead. artimies: meggan can you make a bed...i think he has a fever like a really bad one. meggan: yea i can... she makes a bed in the bio ship. artimies sets him down on it and tucks him down. artimies: here have some tylonal. she gives him the tylnal with a bottle of water. larry: it was a trap... he says quietly. larry: they expected batman to come... robin: but why would they want batman out of the way? larry: somebody named ra al gul wants him and if we were to give batman to him we would get more respect... robin: who would get more respect? larry shrinks himself under the covers. artimies: larry its fine they wont get you we WONT let them. larry: they'll kill me... artimies: if you help us by teling us your former leader then they wont be able to get to you. larry: Alexis megill...her and sportsmaster.
