Code Geass details and challenge
Reading code geass fan fiction is at time no better than watching the show which I thought missed some points and gave Ideas off of little details that the show gave but didn't do anything with.
-I find it hard to believe that Marianne the Flash a knight of the round and one of the most skilled knightmare pilots in the empire would teach her niece Cornelia and not her own son Lelouch. Also I find it hard to believe that with so many skilled pilots in his family plus "The Flash" for a mother that Lelouch sucks at piloting a knightmare.
-Then even if Lelouch and Nunally's titles were striped I find it hard to believe that their mother hadn't stored some money away in the event that something may happen to her, I mean come on she was a knight of round obviously something could happen to her in battle.
-Also I find it hard to believe that Cornelia and Schneizel, that were claimed to be the closest to Lelouch and Nunally out of all their siblings, just gave up and offered no support, Euphemia I could understand she was young and had no say in anything that happened.
-I find it kind of funny that these little details, had they been filled even in a minority, would have kept Lelouch's use of Geass to a bare minimum and as a last resort. I know that Geass is the hole point of the show but through out the hole story the only thing it does is get Lelouch into huge truble over and over.
-Lelouch knew from the beginning when he pledged revenge on those responsible for his mothers death that he would need to understand politics, yet in the show we see him stumble around some of the bid deals off of the battle field.
So In light of these little things I'm going to issue a challenge to anyone who wants to try it. My mind comes up with some great ideas unfortunately when it comes to putting them into stories it just falls apart.
-What would happen if Lelouch not only had his great strategic and analytical mind but he also inherited his mothers skill with a knightmare frame, and became interested in the technology that goes into building, repairing and upgrading the frames.
-What if when Lelouch found out that the Ganymede knightmare frame at Ashford academy was the one that his mother used to earn the title of "The Flash" and a position In the knights of round, he received it from Ruben Ashford and turned part of the huge tunnels under the academy into a hanger, workshop, and lab to rebuild the third generation frame into something that could rival the Lancelot,
-What if lelouch was more prepared for the politics end of being zero, would he have been able to rally more support than he did in the show
-What if Lelouch had met with Cornelia and revealed himself and his motives and reasons, would she still fight her closest little brother or would she help him, if schneizel heard and offered as much support as he could without losing his position or alerting their father.
-What if Susaku had joined with Zero instead of refusing, and bringing along with him Loyld and the Lancelot
-What if Kallen had known about the whole thing since the beginning
-And what if Geass became a last resort weapon
I know I phrased them as questions but I want to see how people will interpret the information differently. Hopefully there will be many different unique stories based of some of these ideas
