A/N: I actually came up with this when I was sat in a cafe in Japan shortly after trying sushi for the first time.
Disclamer: I don't own Harry Potter nor will I ever no matter how much I would like to.
"Eww. What is that supposed to be?" Ron asked as their food arrived, Hermione had ordered for them because it was her choice of restaurant.
"It's sushi Ronald." Hermione said picking up her chopsticks. "We're in a sushi bar remember?"
"Yeah I remember, but I was expecting something less..." He paused and looked down at the plate in front of him. "... Raw."
Hermione smiled at the less than amused look on Rons face.
"But thats what sushi is Ron. It's raw fish."
Ron looked over at Harry who didn't look too impressed but merely shrugged in response and picked up his chopsticks adjusting them in his hands.
"I thought we were going for food. You know hot food that's been cooked, that's not slimey and raw. This is the last time you pick the resturant we go to you know. I'm picking from now on. Can't trust you to pick anywhere with half decent food."
Ron babbled on. Harry, Ron and Hermione did this every week. They Would meet up, take a break from their otherwise hectic lives and catch up, eat, relax. They took it inturns to choose the restaurant, usually picking the same few. But this week Hermione decided that they should try something different dragging the other two into the sushi bar.
"Just try it Ron it won't kill you." Hermione said lifting a piece of sushi to her mouth.
"But it's raw Hermione." Ron said looking disgusted.
"And you normally eat anything." Hermione countered.
"But-" Ron started before Harry cut him off.
"Just shut up and try for goodness sake. You might actually like it. It's not that bad actually." Harry finished having tried a piece while other two were arguing. He was used to it now and tried to ignore it as best he could when they had one of their 'friendly debates' as they called them.
"But-" Ron started again before being cut off again this time by Hermione.
"Ron come on just try it. It's not that bad. What happened to your sense of adventure?"
"My sense of adventure is just fine. But I'm cautious of what I put in my mouth. It doesn't exactly look appetising."
"Ron just do it already. If you don't like it we'll go get something else after ok?" Hermione said with a heavy sigh.
Ron looked dubious but picked up a piece of the sushi pulling a face before putting the sushi to his mouth and putting it in. He made a face as he chewed.
"You know what?" He said as he finished the sushi a smile on his face, "That wasn't so bad!"
"See I told you." Hermione said with a smile.
