Jace sighed sitting up in bed as his phone buzzed next to him, he reached over to his bedside table and picked it up opening the text message.
From Alec Lightwood
To You
Jace… I need help. Come quick.
Jace jumped out of bed shoving his clothes on and strapping on his seraph blades and putting his stele in his pocket. 'If Alec needs help it must be something bug' Jace thought while running down the street to Alec and Magnus' new apartment. He leaped up the stairs until he got to the door and unlocked with his emergency key (for in case Alec gets locked out or forgets his key). He shoved the door open and walked inside. "Alec" he shouted searching for his friend.
"In here" a shaking voice called from the living room. Jace walked in and gasped. Alec was sitting on the couch covered head to tow in glitter with a bright rainbow shirt swell as bright pink jeans and bright blue. If you didn't get it, it was bright. "Ohh..." Jace muttered. "Ok Alec, its ok we can fix this" he said slowly in a calming voice while propelling the shaking boy toward the bathroom "Now you go run yourself a hot bath and I'll make some hot chocolate and get some nice, new glitter-free clothes" he continued, pushing Alec into the bathroom and closing the door behind him. Hearing the bath start running he sighed and left the building to get some coco and clothes.
An hour later a slightly calmer Alec stepped back into the living room. Jace immediately set down the cup of hot coco in front of him and sat for a minute watching Alec slowly sip from the cup. He finally gave up waiting and said "Magnus?". Alec looked up at him and took another sip of the chocolate. He slowly nodded. "Well we all knew it was coming" Jace replied. "Doesn't mean I was ready for it" Alec retorted glaring at Jace.
"Well look on the good side of things at least now we get revenge" Jace said smirking at Alec who grinned back.
