Wow. My first Labyrinth fanfiction... Even though I have SO many other things I should be doing...
I don't own Labyrinth, otherwise it would be a much sappier romance story with lots of mushy romantical love and stuffs.

"I should hate you," She spat bitterly, unshed tears burning.
He said nothing. His only response was a slight nod, and a nearly non-existant smile.
"I should hate you, you know."
He chuckled. "Yes. I know."
"I have every right to hate you. You stole my brother, you cheated, you set the CLEANER on me..." She glared at him. The trembling that had overtaken her entire body had not gone unnoticed.
A single tear to fall as her eyes searched through his, looking for the answer that eluded her. "I should hate you... Why can't I?! Why won't you just leave me alone and let me hate you!" Her voice rose to a shriek, and she cried in earnest now.
His expression softened imperceptibly, and he spread his arms with a slight smirk, offering comfort, and an embrace she had lost the will to resist.
She allowed herself to be drawn to him, burying her face in his chest as she clutched his shirt angrily. "I don't want to fear you. I don't want to love you... And I sure as hell don't want to do as you say." He chuckled slightly, cocking his head down at her and listening to her babbled complaints with a mocking smile. "So why do I tremble when you enter the room? Why does my heart break every time you leave me?" Her breath hitched in a sob. "Why do I listen when you promise to come back?"
She looked up at him again, her green eyes so innocent... so cruel... "Why do I wait for you, Jareth? Why do I do as you say?"
He leaned down, his lean frame arching to place his sinfully curling mouth next to the curve of her ear. "Because, you precious thing... I did it all for you, and we both know it."
"It's not fair... I should hate you..." She muttered dejectedly, turning her face back to his chest.
"But my dear girl, that wouldn't be nearly as fun." He kissed the top of her head gently.
"Dance with me, Sarah-mine."
His tone brooked no argument.
And so they danced. The Goblin King and his Queen.

Reviews would be nice, even though I'm pretty sure it sucked. ^^;
