He had been laying down for the better part of the day, images of her flashing through his mind every now and again. He sat up, the pictures moving as pink lips rose to a smile. It sped in his mind, her image and being making him forget all the pain his father, and his best friends death had caused him. Her hand reached out, smooth, small and so elegant. Milk brown eyes gazed into navy blue, and his heart raced.

A knock on the door made him jump, and almost like a dream she opened the door, pink lips slightly open to question him. His blue eyes darted to stare at her and absorb her image as quickly as possible. The pink lips stopped, and her head tilted, snapping himself out of his ravine. She walked like a swan in water; elegant, smooth...confident. She strode to him, his eyes catching sight of her perfectly manicured nails as her slender fingers reached up to touch his cheek gingerly.

"...You okay?" And the pink lips moved, and so badly he wanted to reach up and kiss her. But she was so far, far away...And he just, wasn't able to catch up. Blue eyes stared at pink lips, and he almost wanted to choke as her fingers grazed his cheek, touch so warm and wonderful...he never wanted it to go. But, alas, it did. Her hand dropped, and now pink lips where so dangerously close as she leaned in to stare at him.

"You didn't answer my question." She was tempting fate by being so close, but he nodded, restraining himself. He managed a weak smile, laughing nervously as pink lips pulled away from their spot that was so close to his. She smelt so good too...

"I-i'm fine, just thinking..."

"You think? Now I know theres something wrong." Her laugh echoed around him, pink lips parting to let to sound escape. He almost wanted to pull her close. So he could listen to the sound while she was much, much closer to him. He wanted her to smile at him like he'd seen her smile at others so many times. He wanted to finally feel her hair in his fingers, and tell the world he caught a goddess.

Her pink lips disappeared from his blue eyes, as she strut like a model back to the door, hips waving at him tauntingly. How badly he wanted to catch her-

"Well, have fun thinking. I am shopping!"

She was gone before he could grab her, fading from his grasp like smoke. He sighed, as yet another chance at catching her escaping him, and went back to laying down and allowing her image to fill his mind again.
