This drabble is a little Dominique/Teddy because I love them oh-so much. I'm serious, I might love them more than Lucy/Lysander! I had fun writing this and I hope you all enjoy it. Oh! And this is written for Mikki105's Fanfic Prompt Contest!
Please don't favorite without reviewing. Thanks!
The kiss was accidental. (They're accidental.)
She didn't plan it at all.
They were just sitting under the orchard of apple trees, the lush green leaves adorned with red apples hanging over them. She would grab and apple a bite into it, if she didn't know how bittersweet it would taste. Not being with him helped the sharp taste of want lingering in her mouth.
They were just talking. He wanted advice, someone to talk to. And she never could say no to him.
She's just the helpful friend and she hates the way it's like they've been type-cast into their roles for life. It's restricting.
The two of them end up talk for hours, until the sunset, the sky blazing with orange-pink-yellow-gold, disappears. The dark night with it's diamond-studded star twinkles above them and she wishes they could be that couple in love under the stars with a perfect love story.
"I love the night sky," She says absently, almost wistfully. Just wishing, waiting, wanting. Like always.
"Your eyes remind me of stars, you know that, Dom?" He says, his forearm brushing hers lightly.
She's smiling one of those rare, genuine smiles even she can't cover up. It lights up her face and makes her feel like she's so happy she might just burst.
She notices his hair isn't its' usual array of colors - just plain brown. It makes her kind of sad. The brown hair makes him look so sad and serious.
Her hair is like a uncontrollable wild-fire, crazy and curly, in all its' strawberry blond glory,
"Teddy-"
His lips capture hers and it's one of those perfect kisses were your heart drops down to your toes and you suddenly forget how to breathe.
They may be an accident, but she thinks they're sort of a beautiful one.
