Iris must stop, looking for the streak. Barry had one thing in mind convince her to stop looking for him. It was stupid of her to write her name on the article, she would remain anonymous, she told him the last time they spoke about it.

Adding your name to an article isn't remaining anonymous last time he checked.

So he went to the cafe, he knew he'd be working late. So he came and greeted her.

"Sorry we're close" The look on her face was beyond amaze, she was excited and he felt it too. "Oh my God. It's you"

"Iris West I hear you'd been writing about me." He speed up his vocal chords to cover his voice.

"You are real" She tried to find the words"I should uh, let me just clean up"

Before she could close her lips, he had done cleaning the place."Meet me on the roof, I'll give you a head start."

So she ran, and he smiles as he remember the time back when they were kids playing tag. Then he ran past her and sit on the roof."I need you to stop writing about me"

"There are a lot of people who needs someone like you right now. To know that you're out there." She tried to see his face but he was against the light "I have so many questions;where are you from?"

"I couldn't say" he appeared few meters behind her.

"Who are you?" She wasn't getting anything from.

"I can't tell you that either." He disappeared again, and went to the roof.

"How can you do what you do?" She tried to fish for info "You're a terrible interview"

"There's more to this than you can understand just trust me please
I need you to stop" He said.

"Can you stop?" She can't help but smile at him. "Running into buildings and rescuing people without them even knowing you were there?"

"I don't do this for the glory" a true hero, doesn't do anything for glory.

"So why do you?" He went to her back again. Iris could feel him a few feet behind her, she was tempted to turn but she knew he wouldn't allow her to get so close to him.

"Look I have this friend and he had something terrible happened to h when he was a kid. His whole life his been telling stories about this impossible thing. And people laughed at him and shrinks analyse him." She tried to picture Barry, she did her best to protect him but what else could she do?

Barry looked at her longingly, she was doing this for him. From the start Iris believe him, she covers for him whenever he needed to visit his dad. Barry didn't grew lonely because she was always with him.
"He's been searching for an explanation ever since"

"now suddenly it's like he has lost his faith but you, you are proof that he wasn't crazy" she could feel him getting closer so she turns just in time to see his face as he bow. "Please save my friend."

He felt guilt. Iris must be feeling alone because she thinks he lost his faith. He knew why Iris was doing this, she needed him to believe again, believe like she does, believe the way he had taught her.

Iris looked at the Streak's jaw and felt a sensation, a sensation of familiarity. He was towering over her like Barry. The streak's face was a blur but she felt like she knew who it was, someone she knew.

"He's a lucky guy then" it hit her, as fast as he was gone. The lingering tone of her childhood friend's voice, maybe masked by echoes is evident.

"Barry's the Streak" she whispered to the wind.

[One shot but if everyone review, I'd be adding two more! ]

[Hold up! I have been getting flames about my BarryXCaitlin shipping and I just want to say, I'm a writer. I write when I'm inspired, it's not my fault that Barry and Caitlin seems to have chemistry, and though I love the idea of them together. I know it's a long shot if not Impossible. This is for every WestAllen shipper out there! If you like this one, inspire me more by reviewing and suggesting :)]
