Just Stay
They had just solve another case and put another killer behind bars. But this had not been done without sacrifices, they needed a lure, bait and this was Eve.
The killer just kidnapped and killed redheaded women so she was the perfect bait. But she suffered. The plan did not work and he found that it was the police, he took her to an abandoned warehouse in France and repeated what he did with his previous victims.
Began tying her wrists and holding in an iron pillar. Then made a small cut on his neck with a razor, then took a candle and burned to take your hands. Then came the last part, took a gun and shot his abdomen.
Instantly Tommy and Sebastian entered the shed with the police of France. While Sebastian ran the prison along with other officers, Tommy came to Eve to help there. He untied his hands and halted the bullet wound of the blood with his shirt and picked her up.
"You found me" Eva whispered.
"I said I'd find you" Tommy replied.
They smiled at each other.
Now Eva was well in the hospital after surgery for bullet removal. The entire staff appeared to visit it except Tommy. Eva was trying to get some sleep when she heard a knock at the door.
"Come in." She said.
"Hi Eva." It was Tommy who was entering the room with a book in hand.
"I thought you did not come." Eve said quietly.
"I wanted to come alone," he said. "How are you feeling?"
"With a little pain from the surgery but I'm fine."
"He took perpetuated by five women murder," Tommy said.
"Thank you for saving me." She thanked.
"You do not have to thank. I would not let him kill you "
"I was scared. I died of fear when he found me and took me to that house. "
"I was afraid." Tommy confessed. "I was afraid of what he might do to you. Afraid to find you dead. "
"Glad you found me."
"I heard that you will spend some time here and as I know hospitals are boring I brought this for you." Tommy said, handing the book.
"The Mansion Holow, Agatha Christie."
"The queen of crime." Tommy and Eva laughed.
"Suitable for our profession."
"More than appropriate."
"Could you stay with me?" Eve asked after a while. "I just do not want to be alone."
"Of course. Whatever you want. "
And they stood there talking all night about everything to Eve sleep. Tommy was a good time watching her sleep when not realizing fell asleep.
When Sebastian arrived the next morning to visit Eva, saw Tommy sitting in the chair next to the bed with his head in it. They held each other's hand. Sebastian just smiled and closed the door, leaving the two alone.
