Notes: written for a meme wherein I had only the length of a song to write a drabble inspired by the song.

Sakura shivered slightly and pulled the blanket tighter around her. Naruto poked the small fire with the stick he had found while collecting wood earlier and smiled at the flame as it flickered and grew stronger. The fire lit his face, etching it with a mysterious air, glowing in his blue eyes. He noticed her staring at him and he chuckled, putting the stick down.
"See something you're interested in?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Please, Naruto. Spare me?"
He laughed and she giggled. Just like old times. The forest was closing in around them, but they were here together, on the border to finding their missing piece. "We'll definitely do it this time."
She nodded.
"And when we do, we'll all be together. Once and for all."
She nodded again.
