Another Kipper rewrite, this time it's the episode "The Butterfly" Enjoy and comment.
One sunny day, Kipper the Dog was playing with his rubber hippo outside, when a butterfly flew by and landed right in front of Kipper.
But when Kipper squeaked the hippo, the butterfly flew away.
Kipper decided to chase the butterfly. Along the way, he saw Pig.
"What are you doing Kipper?" he asked.
"Quiet Pig. I'm trying to catch this butterfly."
"You'll never catch it."
Kipper leaped and the butterfly flew away and landed on Pig's popsicle.
"Keep still." whispered Kipper as he approached Pig.
"Get off my popsicle!" said Pig crossly.
The butterfly climbed onto Pig's arm, but when Kipper reached out his arm, he flew away and landed in a tree.
Kipper climbed the tree to get the butterfly, but fell down in the process.
Next the butterfly flew out of the park, and landed on some balloons. Kipper tried to catch it, but it was no use. He walked sadly away.
Kipper didn't realize however, that the butterfly had landed right on him!
"I can feel it!" exclaimed Kipper. The butterfly had crawled right onto Kipper's head, and then it flew off.
Kipper attempted to catch the butterfly once more, but he had an idea. He decided to pick a flower so that the butterfly would come near him.
He then raced over to Pig, who was almost finished with his popsicle.
"I need your help to catch the butterfly." he said.
"But I want to finish my popsicle." said Pig.
"That's alright then. See you later!"
The next day, Kipper decided to paint a picture so that the butterfly would come near him. He then decided to turn the picture into a hat.
When Pig saw this, he laughed.
Kipper placed the hat on Pig.
"Be very quiet." he told Pig. "Don't say a word.
Soon the butterfly approached and landed right on top of the hat. Kipper went right over and caught the butterfly with no problem.
"Go get a jar quickly!"
Pig returned with a jar, and Kipper placed the butterfly in the jar.
Later, they examined the butterfly.
"It doesn't do much." said Pig.
The butterfly didn't look to happy being in the jar.
"Shall we let it go?" asked Kipper.
"Yes we should." replied Pig.
So Kipper released the butterfly from the jar, and the two friends walked home.
