"You're... you're what?"
Tomo had a knack for picking the worst times to tell Koyomi Mizuhara important information. For example, after she had eaten a whole bag of chips, the smaller girl went bought herself one that Yomi had not seen- the baked kind. And, most importantly of all, they tasted almost exactly the same as the much more fattening kind.
Yomi stared at her friend outside of Chiyo's mansion, at a loss of words. Of course, they had just been about to go in, and the little girl was expecting them any second. She shook her head in disbelief, a hint of panic beginning to show in her eyes. "... You're lying." Tomo shook her head, her gaze cast toward the ground. "I'm moving." By the sudden change in expression on the silly girl's face and tone of voice, Yomi could see that she was serious. Moving? Tomo?
Breathe.
She tried to be calm and think clearly- hadn't she always wished that she didn't always have to be in Tomo's class? Right, the only reason she was reacting so much is because this was just big news, that's all. Even so, she felt tears behind her eyes. "You're lying," she said again, more quietly. Tomo didn't say anything.
The gates opened and Tomo began to walk in, leaving Yomi standing there in silence.
"See?" She turned back with a bright smile. "I'm moving now!" And then it clicked. Amazingly, Tomo had managed to trick her- Yomi should have known- this was Tomo, after all. There were very few situations where she could be serious about something.
Besides, Yomi knew she wouldn't leave her behind.
However, that didn't make the girl with glasses any less angry.
Screaming in frustration, she ran all the way up to the massive house, chasing a giggling Tomo. "OH MAN, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACE! I KNEW YOU LOVED ME YOM-" All of a sudden, the hyperactive wildcat found herself cornered against the door of Chiyo's house, which hadn't opened. Yomi was too close to avoid. "OH MY GOD!" She ducked as fast as she could and waited for the double chop.
"Eek!"
Looking up, Tomo saw Yomi's hands come right down on Chiyo's head. Ouch.
