Kagome frowned over the Soothsayer's words. The old woman came highly recommended by Lady Kaede herself.
"Fear not, Miko. Everything happens for a reason." The humpbacked Soothsayer shot her a toothless grin, collected her money, and left.
Leaving Kagome alone, worried, and beyond all patience.
