His Newbie's Other Talent
Dr. Cox's POV
Out of all the things I've seen- I don't think I will be able to get this image out my head. Ever. Not that I'd really ever want it to leave.
It appears that Newbie has- oh god...I might have to give it up to him this time. He's got this sly, little smirk on his face as he looks over at me. Damn if he doesn't know the effect that this act of his is having on me.
"Something you forgot to tell me that they taught you back in theater camp, Clara?" I whisper as I stand there taking in the sight before me.
He purses his lips and tilts his head to the side, looking as if he's in some serious, deep thinking. The sly smirk returns his face only three seconds later.
"Nope," he says as he shakes his head 'no' a couple of times. "Gonna have to guess again, Perry. Or you won't be getting this tonight." He proceeds to wrap both of his hands around the pole. Then he... he.. did he just lick that damn pole?!
I have to bite back a groan.
"Newbie," I start with a slight growl, "I'm not exactly in the mood for guessing games right now."
"Well, if you want to know that badly..." He's now walking towards me, slowly unbuttoning that red shirt he's got on. When he stops right infront of me, shirt half-opened- exposing a bit of that pale chest of his, he leans in closely, like he's about to start kissing me, and whispers, "I took a pole-dancing class once." He then steps back, gives me a coy smile (probably feeling proud of the wide-eyed look I have on my face now), and starts walking back towards the guest room of my apartment.
I stand there for a moment, just staring off in the direction that he went, blinking a couple of times.
A grin starts to spread across my face, and I hold back rubbing my hands together in glee as I start walking towards where Amy is. My only thought right now is, 'That definitely makes things more interesting.'
