The stillness of the night is untouchable, vast skies stretch across the world uniting cities night by night. Stars waver and gleam - hanging dead and alive in the sky all at once, an enigma - all to them self's. An object of desire , a wonder to all the people who find them self's gazing and wishing upon the heavens looking for answers.

The night blushed as it was coming to an end, somewhere off in the distance light started to break into the world. Hints that the day was creeping nearer started to show; the air warmed, animals started to stir waking there sleepy eyes, owls and bats were coming home for the night, bugs started to hum. She knew her moment would have to end all too soon. He would have to leave her again, she ached not to be alone, to stay in his embrace, to have the ability to fill her lungs with him. She nuzzled in closer burying her face into his chest; it was deep musty almost ancient kind of smell. She allowed herself to close her eyes for the last time that dawn. While he stroked her hair softly, he hummed a song it was throaty and pitched a song from his childhood, she allowed herself to be lost in it, as she drifted off once more.

She was awoken by not what she expected, or how. Her eyes remained closed as she savored the sensation of the warm sun on her skin, the grass under her seemed to cradle her body. She raised her head and peered out across the scenery. It took her a moment to realize the impossible she was in the same position as last night when she had fallen asleep in Angel's arms. Her heart dropped as she panicked bolting upright her eyes going over every inch of him. He was fine, no poof, ash, flame, or dying.

Buffy could hardly believe her eyes, with trembling hands she reached out a laid a heavy hand on his chest. It was solid, and warmed by the sun that fact helped steady her hand , taking a deep breath she moved her fingers up to his face. Buffy had never seen Angel in the light, a smile slowly spread across her face. He was handsome , she had always thought so but the new light seemed bring something new to his face, he almost looked as if he had colour in his cheeks. She shifted her body propping herself up on her elbows and leaned down for a kiss. It was soft, and tender, she brought her hand up to cradle his face. Buffy worked her lips slow, soon she felt reciprocating force. He kissed her hander as he awoke.
