A/N: This is just a short one-shot. I got the idea while writing the last chapter of Falling to Pieces. I realize that the letter isn't very good, but read anyway. Also this is the first story that I've written in third person so tell me if you've read any of my stories, which do you like best, the first person or third person point of view. Anyway, please read and review.

Disclaimer: I don't own Bones.

Dear Booth,

I love you. I know that this is not the best way to tell you this, but if you're reading this then that means that Hodgins and I have ran out of oxygen. I'm hoping that you never have to read this letter because I want to do it in person, but just in case you don't, I love you.

I don't want this letter to be long because to tell the truth there's really nothing much to say except that I love you with all my heart.

Yours Truly,

Bones

He folded the tattered letter in half just the way he found it. He could feel the tears in his eyes, and he wiped them away as fast as he could because he didn't want to appear weak. No, the Booth men don't cry even if they want to.

He knows that he shouldn't read the letter over and over again because all it gives him is pain mixed in with sadness, but every night when everyone is asleep he finds himself by the window reading the letter as the moon shines.

"Hey," he heard a voice from behind him as he put the letter back in his pocket. He turned around to see his beautiful wife standing just inches away from him wearing her silk nightgown.

"Bones..." he said as he enveloped her in a big hug. He could smell the sweet scent that her skin was giving off, and he found himself just sniffing her.

"You were reading it again, weren't you?" she asked, and he nodded his head.

"I told you to stop doing that. I'm here aren't I. You don't need the letter to tell you that I love you because I'm here to tell you that everyday," she said as she wrapped her arms around him. She placed her right ear against his chest, and listened to the rhythm of his heart. He placed his head on top of hers, and planted a kiss on her hair.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you, too. Now let's go to bed, we have an early day tomorrow, starting with the gynecologist," she said as she dragged him towards their room.

"Yeah, I hope it's a girl, so I can spoil her," he said with a wide smile on his face. She, on the other hand, just shook her head, and giggled.
