Guys, this is my 50th story on this site! Can you believe it? To celebrate, here's a special little fluff piece. Please enjoy!

"Hey there, kiddo."

Diana blinked through her weariness as she awoke to the sound of her husband's deep voice. Who was he talking to? It couldn't be her, could it? He called her a lot of things, but 'kiddo' certainly wasn't one of them. She glanced to the side where she knew he was laying, but found that he wasn't there. She was slightly confused by this before she caught sight of his dark hair a little further down on the bed. She felt his hands ghost across her swollen stomach.

He's not talking to me, Diana realized. He's talking to the baby. Her heart fluttered; this was utterly adorable. Instead of confronting him about this, however, she simply just listened.

"It's almost time," continued Bruce. "We only have a few weeks left. Are you excited?" He waited for a response as if the child in her womb could actually talk back. "I am." He sighed. "I'm also pretty nervous too." He chuckled. "I'm not sure, exactly, what I'm supposed to say to you."

He's nervous? He'd been a lot of things during this pregnancy. Protective was definitely one, nervous wasn't. She didn't think he could get nervous. Then again, Bruce was still human.

"My father wasn't around," he revealed softly, his hand stopping in the middle of Diana's stomach. She stayed quiet, making sure to keep her body relaxed and her breathing even. She felt somewhat guilty eavesdropping in on the conversation, but didn't see how she could avoid listening to it. So she continued to listen to her husband's words.

Bruce lightly kissed her stomach. "I swear I'll be around," he promised. "I'm probably going to make a million and one mistakes, but I'll do whatever it takes to make this world safe for you." Diana was nearly on the verge of tears by the time he was done. To add to the moment, she felt the baby kick in response to their father's words.

She waited until she heard Bruce's soft snoring before gently placing her hand on her abdomen. "Someday, you'll blow us all away," she whispered. "Someday..."

Short but sweet, right guys? I'm insanely obsessed with Hamilton (really, I think I have a problem), so this was based off of the song "Dear Theodosia" potentially my favorite song in the musical. Doesn't Burr fit Bruce well? XD Anyway, I hope you liked it and please review!
