The sea pair
How many years have they been apart? They had been apart for what seemed like an eternity which was almost their whole adolescence life. Four years of it to be exact. Four years too long in their opinion. They needed that one day of reunion that one day to be with each other that one day to show each other their love for one another. They met at a park. Neither could see one another so they left sad and disappointed until they ran into each other at the exit. It was pure joy for both of them as they embraced in what was like a death grip. They stood like that until the veins in their heads bulged out. They let go of each other and stood there marveling their beauty. HE was the first to speak.
"Why did I leave you?" he asked in a whisper.
"I don't know either." she said.
"I won't leave you again." he said.
"I won't either." she said.
They lived four years without one another and now they were in each others reach. They as if on cue took a step nearer to the other and leaned in to kiss. The emotions inside flowed out and just as it began it ended. They were now 26 and 27 and they had already known who they wanted to be with. He got down on one knee and a solitary tear rolled down her cheek. This was it this was the beginning of the rest of their lives. It was like one of those bug repelling candles flame bright and warm. Loving to you but not to the bugs. She was already nodding her head so Travis slipped the dainty ring onto her finger. It was a silver band with and small square cut diamond with little diamonds beside it she marveled it and took him into an embrace.
"I love you Travis" she said quietly.
"I love you too Lily" he replied.
