Summary: Hermione watches Chase hold their baby.
A/N: Written for my claim Hermione/Chase at 7 Crossovers Challenge Community at Livejournal for the prompt Delicate. Please note I have NOT seen all the House episodes… I'm working on it though. I'm now on episode 16 of Season 2.
Although J.K Rowling has changed Hermione's middle name to Jean, I just don't like it so I'm going to use her old official middle name.

Hermione Jane Chase contently watched her husband as he held their first child, Rose Anne Chase. His smile was full of pride and love, and she just knew it would take a long time for him to lose that smile. Hermione smiled as she could practically feel the love, joy, and pride radiating off him.
She still felt slightly tired, and even though the doctor told her to rest after she gave birth to Rose, Hermione didn't want to go to sleep yet. She wanted to watch Robert and Rose together a little longer. He was like in a whole different world as he held Rose in his arms.
He delicately held Rose's baby fingers and started humming softly to her, causing Hermione to finally fall asleep.
