Red and his son made their way through the village. It wasn't long until Willow's house came into view. Red walked over and knocked on the door.
Willow peered through. "Oh, h-hi guys. Come in." she said timidly as she let them in.
The shy artist then led them towards the living room and offered them tea and cookies. Red took a bite of his cookie and looked around, noticing the amount of paintings on the walls.
"Hey, would you like to see my workshop?" Willow later asked.
"Sure, I don't see why not." Red replied and drank the rest of his tea.
Smiling, the pigeon took them to her workshop and began showing them all her drawings and paintings.
"What about this one?" Cody asked, pointing to an unfinished painting.
"Oh, I was just working on that when you guys arrived." Willow replied and then had an idea. "Would you like to help me finish it?" she asked sheepishly.
Cody's eyes widen. "Really?"
"Of course," she said and the kid cheered excitedly. She then turned to Red. "What about you Red?"
"Uh…I'll just watch from here," Red answered. He was never good with paintings after all.
"Oh, okay," the artist shrugged.
Red found a chair and sat down, watching the two as they worked on the painting. There were moments where he had to hold back a smile, especially when the artist would ask Cody for his opinion.
"Oh, we ran out of blue paint. Wait here until I get back, okay?" she muttered and soon left. Cody turned to him and frowned.
"You should paint with us too Dad," he stated.
"No, I'll just mess it up. You two were doing fine without me." Red replied.
Eyes narrowed, the kid grabbed his paint brush and walked over to him. "Dad, you will paint with me," he said seriously.
Red's eye brows shoot up and he knelt in front of him. "Oh really, and why would I?" he asked teasingly.
Without a warning, Cody raised the brush and drew a yellow line on his forehead.
Red sputtered. "Did…did you just…"
"Still don't wanna join me?" his son asked, grinning mischievously.
Red stared at him for a moment then grinned. "Fine, if that's what you want," he said, grabbing a nearby brush and smearing green paint on the kid's orange feathers.
It was an all-out war after that. In the span of five minutes, the once clean workshop was now a mess and colorful paint splattered across the walls. Cody, now more green than orange, lay on his father's chest who was covered in yellow and purple.
"I win!" the kid cheered breathlessly. "You have to paint with me now!"
Red sighed at this. "Okay, but first…" he quickly dipped his hand in a jar of yellow paint and got a hold of Cody, rubbing his hand on his head.
"H-Hey, no fair!" Cody muttered through laughter.
"Sorry for taking so long guys, but I finally found some blue…." Willow trailed off once she saw the state of her workshop.
The two birds responsible squirmed nervously under her gaze.
"Oh boy," Red muttered.

After two minutes of scolding by the artist, the two apologized to their friend. They cleaned up the mess they made and helped her finish her painting.
"Are you sure you don't want to clean yourselves here?" Willow asked.
"No thanks, we caused you enough trouble today. We'll just wash up at my house." Red stated.
"Okay, I'll see you guys later," she said with a smile.
"See ya," Red replied as he made his way to back their house with Cody, covered from head to toe with paint. They both had big smiles on their face despite the weird looks they got from everyone in the village.
