Hi everybody! I have finally aquired my own account (a gazzilion thanks to hjaltalin's owl for sharing hers with me until I could get this one) and I am reposting all my stories here. Please enjoy!

I do not own Harry Potter. If I did, I would be JK Rowling, and I'm not.
This is my first attempt at a Harry Potter fic, so please let me know what you think.

In the Mirror

Ginny stared intently at the full-length mirror in front of her- a gift from Luna. I looked normal enough, with an ornate silver frame inscribed with the words 'Once Upon a Time...', but it was no ordinary mirror. As Ginny gazed at it, images of the five men she could've loved appeared in it, one by one.

The first to appear was Dean Thomas. He stood facing her in the mirror, grinning, and dressed in long red quidditch robes. He had a quaffle tucked under one arm, and his right foot rested on a muggle soccer ball. Ginny gazed at him for a long moment, shook her head slightly, and blinked.

Now Neville Longbottom stood before her, smiling at her out of the mirror. She smiled back. Neville wore black Hogwarts robes, and clutched a large flowering plant in his hands. Ginny watched him, grinning around his plant, for a few moments, then blinked again.

When she opened her eyes, it was Harry Potter she saw standing in the mirror, looking out at her. His robes were torn, as though he'd fallen, and his glasses were slightly crooked. He held a wand in his right hand, its tip glowing faintly, and his left supported a Firebolt broomstick. His messy black hair fell into his green eyes as he gave Ginny a quiet smile. She looked at him, as she had the others, and then she blinked.

Draco Malfoy was next to meet her gaze when she opened her eyes again. Tall and pale, he was clothed in black slacks and a white, long-sleeved button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up past his elbows. His arms were folded across his chest, hiding the dark mark he bore on his left. His grey eyes returned Ginny's steady stare, the ghost of a smile on his pale features. She blinked.

This time when she opened her eyes, she could do nothing but stare in shock at the man who now stood in the mirror. Tom Riddle stood before her, dressed in second-hand robes, hands behind his back and his dark hair neatly combed. A half-smile graced his handsome features, and his eyes, dark and solemn, gazed into Ginny's, and for a few seconds, she stared back.

Then she blinked again, and when she opened her eyes, the only person she saw in the mirror was herself, reflected in the smooth, polished glass.
