Colonel Roy Mustang stretched his back in his office chair and yawned. It was another boring day and Edward was late for their meeting once again. This happened so often that Roy started telling the teenager that their meetings were earlier than actually planned. The blonde caught on, though, and stopped coming in for those times. He always double-checked Roy's schedule with the First Lieutenant, who always had it on hand.

On this particular day, Roy decided enough was enough. He was going to the dorm the Elric brothers stayed in and he was going to force him out of bed. He was sure the teen only wanted to sleep in.

The Colonel stood from his desk and left his office.

"Where are you going, sir?" Hawkeyes asked when she saw the man heading toward the door of the outer office.

"I'm going to get Edward in my office," Roy said before leaving. How difficult was it to get to his office? It wasn't like the kid lived across the city; he literally stayed on the base!

Roy found the room that he remembered assigning to the State Alchemist and shoved the door open. They didn't even keep their door locked!

"Fullmetal," the Colonel said sharply, though quickly saw that the bed was empty. Did he already leave and Roy missed him? Suddenly the bathroom door opened, revealing the youngest Elric brother.

"Colonel," Alphonse spoke in a shocked tone. "What are you doing here?" While Roy was confused as to why the hollow suit of armor was in the bathroom, he pushed the thought out of his head.

"I'm looking for your brother," Roy answered.

"He's in the bathroom," Alphonse informed. "He should be out in a minute."

"Does he knew we had a meeting?" Roy asked. He was positive he had told the kid.

"Is he running late?" Alphonse asked worriedly. "We were trying to hurry."

"Hurry with what?" It was Roy's turn to question. What could they be doing together?

"Brother's maintenance," Al answered. "He has to do it every day or else the automail will give out on him. Well, more like his body gives out on the automail."

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened, revealing Edward in his boxers and a tank-top.

"Hey, Al, I need-" the teenager stopped himself short when he noticed the Colonel. The blonde slammed the door quickly, but the man noticed the inflamed flesh around the metal port. "What are you doing here?!" Ed shouted through the door.

"We had a meeting," Roy answered. He sighed. He was too nice. "Let me know when you want to reschedule it."

This way, Ed would be able to choose a time best for him and his leg.
