1. Preface

Thank you for all those who reviewed and faved my Kaicil works even if I was being inactive. I can never express my gratitude enough for that - please don't underestimate your support, I wouldn't have been able to be where I am now, and wouldn't have been able to write out what I'm offering in this fic.

Thank you for all those who waited and encouraged me even if I seemed like I wouldn't write again. Again, no words are enough for my gratitude. During my seemedly-hopeless two-year yaoi writer's block, I kept writing short stuff and starting on stuff but ended up throwing them away and forgetting they even existed. Even while I was writing this fic I was expecting to stop in the middle of it - the instances too many to be even counted. But I actually finished it.

This was actually supposed to be just a short Christmas drabble, but it ended up becoming something more complicated. The lack of chapter divisions may annoy a lot of you - yes, I didn't want to write then publish short bits. I made sure I finished this entire fic before I posted even a word of it.
