In the light of the full moon, Jason Grace sat by the lake, his hand resting on something rough and cool. He blinked twice, sighed, and rolled over, facing the red object.

"I love you, Brick," he whispered. Then he smiled and sighed again happily, running a finger across the rough surface.

"Yes, I know I left Piper for you. No no no! Don't feel guilty about it! You were the one I really loved…." Jason picked up the brick and held it up to his face, briefly pressing his lips against the surface. The brick and Jason broke apart, before joining again until both were out of oxygen. Then they split apart and Jason laid the 'inanimate' object on the ground again, whispering on how it was alright, and that he knew that the brick was real, and that they didn't understand.

It was really adorable, especially for the creepy stalker fanfiction writer fangirl hiding in the woods, watching the scene. Percabeth was her OTP, of course, but she still shipped Brason. I mean, who doesn't?

Jason glanced at his watch. "Wow, Brick," he told the brick, "it's almost midnight. It look like we better get inside." They waited for a single second, while Jason waited for the brick to respond. "I'm sorry baby, but we'll get caught by Chiron! You know his rules against affection…." Another minute passed. "Okay, but just for a minute. Okay babe?"

Jason laid down again, beside his loving partner, and they held hands. (Or, Jason's hand held part of the brick.)

"Ever since that brick came into the story, he's just been so obsessed! But I miss him Annabeth! I miss him!" Piper spoke with longing and disgust in her voice, sitting in her best friend's cabin while the others were out at some sort of training. For her emotional unrest, Chiron was allowing Piper optional lessons, and Annabeth was allowed the occasional skip to help her friend.

"It'll be alright, Pipes. If he left you, you never meant anything to him. So he shouldn't mean anything to you anymore," Annabeth responded, stroking Piper's arm gently.

"But if it weren't for that stupid brick!" Piper sobbed, collapsing onto Annabeth's pillow. It was now stained with salty tears, but Annabeth just tried to forget that.

"It'll be alright," Annabeth soothed. "It'll be alright."

"I want revenge!" Piper whisper-screamed, rising. Her hair was plastered to her wet pink face, making her look slightly terrifying. She grabbed the pillow and threw it across the room, where it shattered a window. Annabeth stood to fetch it, and Piper grabbed the lower pillow and held it to her like a teddy bear, sobbing into it. Annabeth returned and sat beside her.

"Would you like to help me plan the revenge?" Annabeth asked. Piper perked up, brushing her uneven brown hair from her face. And then she nodded, slowly and deliberately.

Jason blinked the light out of his eyes, then reached over to pat the brick laying on the white cotton sheets beside him. As he felt its presence, Jason allowed himself a small smile and relaxed again.

Until another brick came into the picture.

It flew through the window, spreading glass everywhere. Jason turned around to protect his current 'baby' from the newcomer, and it hit his back. It hadn't done any real damage, but Jason could feel the brick shaking in his arms.

"It's okay baby. I don't know that other brick!" he comforted. "I will never leave you." Piper rolled her eyes and walked away from the window, towards a waiting Annabeth.

"I'm over it," she said, rolling her eyes again. "He's just insane."

"Brick."

"Brick brick!"

"Mmm brick brick brick!"

"Brickty brick!"

"Ugh! Brick!"

"Brick! Brick brick brick!"

"Oh brick?" Jason walked into the room, where he had left the two bricks alone.

"Come on, sweetie. You don't need to worry about that brick." He picked up the brick gently in his arms, carrying it out of the room.

"Brick," it whispered behind him, leaving the other one speechless.
