Sam Evans stood in the Auditorium listening to now Vice President Sue Sylvester talk about Glee and rededicating the Auditorium as the new Finn Hudson Memorial Auditorium, which was long overdue. And Mr Schue deserved praise, but the person who deserved I even more was the woman he let get away..Rachel Barbra Berry. Oh excuse me, Rachel St James.
Sue: Where the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway...
Sam felt a lump in his throat. He was proud of Rachel. He was glad that she went on to get her degree, ended up back on Broadway, got her first Tony, was a surrogate for Blaine & Kurt, but what hurt even more was seeing her with Jesse.
Sam gets why she chose Jesse, but it doesn't mean he hurts any less. He has had his fair share of love with Quinn, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany, and Penny. But the one who surprised him most was Rachel.
He looked over exchanging glances with the beautiful brunette. Wishing that he hadn't wasted so many years and not fight for her. She made him a better man. Did he love her? Damn right he did, and even after the guilt because she was Finn's.
Sam sighed and decided to tell her how he feels through music. He knows that he doesn't have her anymore, but he had to tell her how much he missed her...missed "us"...
Sam walked onto the stage, and grabbed his guitar.
Sam: Excuse me, everyone. I'd like to sing this song for someone special. Rachel, I know you're with Jesse now, but this is something I should've said long ago before I let you get away. You will always be a special part of me. I'm always here, waiting for you. I love you, Rae.

Rachel looked at Sam, with tears in her eyes. She came with Jesse, but they were just friends. They married, but drifted apart yet still the best of friends. A part of her never forgot Sam.
She walked onto the stage, and seeing Sam emotional and singing from his heart touched her.
Rachel: Sam, that was beautiful.
Sam: No words. I know you're taken, but had to tell you how I've felt. Now I can say goodbye.
Rachel caressed his cheek.
Rachel: What if I don't want you to say goodbye?
Sam: I don't understand...
Rachel kissed him softly. " Does that answer your question? "
Sam: What about Jesse?
Rachel: Friends. My heart belongs to you. You're the one who matters the most.
Sam smiled. " Will you be mine?"
Rachel kissed him again. " I thought you'd never ask. Yes."
Sam spun her around, holding onto her, not wanting to let go.
Sam: I love you Rachel.
Rachel: I love you more.
Sam: Not possible.
They kissed and walked off the stage together at last.
