Chat Amongst Two Underrated Monsters
By Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus
A quiet night on Monster Island.
"I'm heading out." Gigan commented.
Hedorah and Megalon glanced at each other as they turned to Gigan.
"Where to?" They both asked in unison.
Gigan shrugged as he shook his head. "I don't know... probably Canada, or something." He then took off to the sky as he flew northwest, leaving Monster Island behind.
Hedorah and Megalon looked at each other as they were both situated on the dirt, using the mountains as chairs while they wondered what to do.
"So, uh, want to write fanfiction involving character bashing?" Megalon commented as he raised his right hand, which was a drill. "I heard a clone of a boring character just got into an upcoming game."
"...Nah. We're better than that." Hedorah replied as he rolled his strange polluted hands around. "How about we torture the world like we did in the only movies we starred in?"
"Pah! Only movie started in my butt!" Megalon growled as he raised his drills in the air, obviously angered. "You at least got to be in a relatively new movie! I was suppose to be in Gigan's debut film, and they pushed me to my own where I wasn't even the real focus!"
An awkward silence followed as Hedorah looked down, noticing that Megalon folded his arms in disappointment. Hedorah rubbed the back of his head with his left hand.
"Look at it this way. A lot of people who were exposed to your movie are major fans of you." Hedorah insisted as he tilted his head to the right.
Megalon slowly turned his head to Hedorah. "How is that suppose to make me feel better? For crying out loud, I don't even have my own page on wikipedia."
Hedorah shrugged as he shook his head. "Wikipedia always sucked. There's a lot of obscure, but much better, sources that have real actual insight on us."
"I guess that slightly makes me feel better..." Megalon grumbled as he placed his right drill on his face. "It just ticks me off that certain irrelevant characters who are simply one notes in their films can get a page, but not me despite being the main monster of my movie."
"Look at it this way." Hedorah replied as he held Megalon's drills with his own hands. "At least you're not overexposed by Toho to the point where people would be sick of seeing you."
Megalon smiled, but then frowned as he felt his drills burning up from Hedorah's pollution. "...Can you please let go of me."
"Oh, sorry." Hedorah commented as he took his hands off Megalon's drills, which were nearly completely burned off.
