This is my first fan fic which means it probably isn't very good

As Ichigo took one last look at his home a small smile etched its way on his face, he knew his leaving wouldn't affect his family, his father would be there to take care of his younger siblings and in turn they would take care of Isshin, and with that thought he made his way to the train station.

(Ichigo's POV)

Just think of this and me as just a few of the many things, to lie around, to clutter up your shelve

She won't miss me one bit, after all she has Renji, and I'll always go unnoticed to her, she probably thinks I just have some foolish crush on her. But I know it's much more than that. She acts like I'm some naïve child, maybe if i actually took the time explain to her what I felt she'd realise that I'm deadly serious.

I dare you to forget the marks you left across my neck from those nights when we were both found at our best

But I had to go and fuck it all up didn't i? Last night I went round her apartment to comfort her after she had a fight with Renji, and after a few drinks things went a bit crazy, and the next thing I know she kisses me! And even though ever cell in my body tells me to push her away I pulled her closer.

Then in morning I woke up in her bed with her next to me, our clothes scattered on the bedroom floor, it was obvious what had happened and for the first time since my mother's death I felt at peace, I even smiled, I thought she had picked me over him!

Now I could make this obvious, and you, you could deny me all in one breath, you could shrug me off your shoulders.

But then she had to say those four words that brought my world crashing down "this was a mistake" she looked at me with such disgust, her violet eyes held nothing but regret, I didn't say a word back, I didn't trust my voice not to break. As I got dressed and left she didn't utter one word.

So I'm leaving Karakura town for good, I haven't anyone, I didn't see the point, the only people that care for me here are my family and I've left my father a note explaining everything, I have no idea where I'm going to stay, but I just have to leave this place and every memory of her behind, hopefully everyone in this town will forget me.

just forget me, it's that simple

As Ichigo got on the 5am train to central Tokyo from Karakura town station he didn't notice a pair of golden eyes watching him.
