Hey guys! I just want you to know before I start that like most of my stories they don't normally go according to the original story line. I'm sorry if that bugs some people (it bugs me sometimes too) but I just get so caught up in the writing I miss some important details anyway we wouldn't want to be copyrighting would we. So I hope you enjoy! I don't own any of the Fairy Tail characters besides my Breeze

Fairy Tail Guild Hall, a sunny morning in Magnolia.

Lucy's P.O.V

"Natsu! Stop fighting~ Gray put your clothes on!" I whined, as the two idiots persisted to ignore me. I shook my fists around in an attempt to catch their attention, but as usual my efforts with them failed again. I rolled my eyes and tried to push their yelling to the back of my mind.

"You'll get to them one day, don't give up!" Mirajane giggled from behind me.

"They're killing my brain cells." I mumbled to myself, earning another giggle from the take-over mage. I turned around and let my body sag onto a bar stool, my head fall into my hands. Mira opened her mouth to say something else but was interrupted by a small red phone sitting in the bar, that beckoned her attention. I positioned my head so I could watch her through a lazy eye. She picked up the phone and held it to her ear, turning around and quietly whispering to whoever was on the other side.

"Natsu you're an idiot! Why would someone even do something that stupid?!" Gray yelled, pulling me back into their stupid, petty fight. I adjusted my head again, looking at the scene happening to my left.

"It's not my fault! It was clearly Lucy!" Natsu spat back, his voice didn't even waver with the fat lie. Natsu's ability to lie when he was in an argument with Gray was unparalleled to even the best of actors. A skill he was that was only limited to when he was arguing with this icy guild-mate.

I turned around at the mention of my name and saw that Natsu's big obnoxious finger was pointed right at my face. If I was a child like himself, I would have tried to bite it off. I fought the ridiculous idea, I didn't have enough confidence in his hygiene to risk it.

"Hey! What did I do!? I don't even know what you're fighting about! Ugh!" I defended myself and let out a groan in frustration. The sucked me in! Why do I let them do this?!

"Uh, you know it was about that thing" Natsu said scratching his head, as he lost his train of thought. He hoped by massaging his scalp that the thought would come back to him. Coming up blank, he started to laugh nervously.

I rolled my eyes. "Well you can't accuse me for something, if you can't even remember what you were fighting about!" I stood up from the bar stool and was about to rip into Natsu when Mira slammed the phone down and ran up the stairs of the guild, unintentionally grabbing everyone's attention.

"Wonder what that was about?" Gray thought out loud, the previous fight lost its traction and everyone seemed to forget about it as Mira disappear from view. I looked back at him with concern "it's probably nothin- WHERE DID YOUR UNDERWEAR GO?!" I yelled trying to cover my eyes from looking at Gray's uncovered junk. What my hands didn't cover was Natsu holding onto Gray's black boxers. He would later defend that he picked them up off the ground, not off the Ice mage himself. But before his teasing began, Happy yelled.

"Ooohhh~ Lucy likes what she sees!" Happy wiggled his little cat eyebrows

"I SWEAR CAT!"

The underwear had been returned to its owner and Natsu hadn't quite recovered from his teasing. He swore he didn't like men and declared that if he did, Gray wouldn't be close to the top of his list. My lips let a giggle escape as I recalled his recent conviction on the matter. He didn't seem to be offended that a few of the guild members had teased him about his sexualitly. He was offended they though he would choose Gray.

I let out another sigh, I had resumed a position I could commonly be found in. Arms sprawled over the bar, head rolling around in distress, and a long noise somewhat resembling a groan, leaving my lips. I really need to find a job, I need money. But I can't be bothered. I frowned and as I exhaled I blew a stand of blonde hair out of my face. When did I get so lazy?

Mira came rushing down the stairs that ended behind the bar, stairs we were still band from even looking at. To my surprise, a large man followed her closely.

I sat up in curiosity, Laxus? I had only seen the man once since joining the Fairy Tail guild, he usually keeps to himself on the second floor or is out on jobs. I wonder what he's doing?

I snapped out of my thoughts when it became clear that Mirajane was approaching me. He shoulders were tight as her fists were balled at her sides. I opened my mouth to ask if she was okay, but I didn't get the chance.

"Lucy I need you and Natsu to go pick someone up" She asked, or more like demanded. Her tone was strict, matching her posture. My eyebrows raised, what could have changed Mira's attitude so drastically. Laxus moved around the bar and walked past me, heading to the guild hall's entrance.

A chill ran down my spine, I have only been at Fairy Tail a few months now but that is the first time I have heard Mirajane sound anything other than chipper.

"Sure, but who?" I asked.

"Uh, Laxus will go with you and explain the whole thing, just be careful" Mira placed a hand on mine, her eyes met min and they softened. I could feel my heart drop a little at the sight, was it pity or concern in her eyes?

"You're scaring Mira, but okay" I laughed nervously, I don't have a good feeling about this.

It's almost like Natsu knew that he was needed, or with his Dragon Slayer senses he could hear his name being ushered. Regardless the reason, being the nosy teenager he was, he came rushing over like a dog looking for treats "Alright! What are we getting into now!" Natsu looked at us longingly, his loud and excited voice cutting through any somber mood that lingered.

"You're a special one, aren't you Natsu" I shook my head, Natsu just blinked at me, confused by my words. He looked between Mira and I, trying to read the situation. He cocked his eyebrow and opened his mouth, most likely to ask what was wrong, but as his nostrils flared, he stiffened.

He straightened up and turned around, looking over at Laxus. I couldn't tell if his change in posture was out of respect or caution.

"We should get going" Laxus said, looking at us with the same intimidating expression he uses for everything. He wasn't the reason I was on edge, skeptical about this last minute demand. It was the reaction Mira had to whatever we were about to embark on. As Natsu yelled for his best friend, I looked at him in admiration. He had a smirk on his lips, I knew that look. We were about the charge head on into this and I would worry, but it would end up bettering me.

I stood up and clenched my fist in determination at my side and smiled.

"Let's go Luce!" Natsu called as he ran a head of Laxus, childishly laughing as Happy flew to catch up with him.

"Coming!"

Much to Natsu's delight and my disgust, the location we were heading to was not accessible by vehicular transport. I sighed as I stepped high over another root threatening to trip me. Natsu had already caught me once, taunting me about my poor choice of footing. Most of the trek so far had been through a deep forest, but the last ten minutes or so had been led by a path.

I trailed behind Natsu and Laxus, dragging my feet with each step, my only entertainment was a small brown rock I'd been kicking for a few metres. The rock rolled off into the grass. Damn. I would have stopped to fetch the rock, to continue the mindless game, but I feared that if I stopped walking my legs wouldn't let me start again.

I sighed and looked up at the three in front of me. "Hey Laxus, are you going to tell us anything about the person were going to meet?"

He didn't even bother to look over his shoulder "It's not important who she is, we just have to make sure she doesn't refuse to come with us" Despite me having asked this question, or one similar around 9,999 times on our trip so far, Laxus chose his words poorly this time. He went to correct himself quickly, but let out a groan as Natsu yelled, "SO WERE KIDNAPPING SOMEONE?!" with a tinge of excitement as he looked at Happy.

"We've never kidnapped someone before Natsu!" The blue cat did an aerial flip out of excitement. I let out another sigh, idiots.

"Quiet Natsu" Laxus warned, "and no, she's part of Fairy Tail. She doesn't general get along with many people so she decided a long time ago to move somewhere remote, but it's time she came home." So she's similar to Mystogan, a mysterious Fairy Tail wizard? I wonder why she's returning now, of all times? I started wondering how old this woman was.

"A Fairy Tail wizard?! Who is she?! How come I've never heard of her before? Is she strong?! She must be if it's going to take the three of us to get her home... I want to fight her!" Natsu sounded outraged that he wasn't kept in the loop about this (something which is obviously not his business). She must have been out here for a while if Natsu hadn't met her before, he's been apart of the guild since he was a child.

I put a little thought into Natsu's words, if they did need three people to move this wizard, why pick me out of a much stronger pool of wizards probably more suited. "I wouldn't mind knowing why you dragged me along?" I asked genuinely curious. If this was a job that required force, I'm sure Elfman, or even Gray were a better fit. Laxus glanced at me from the side as he thought more carefully about his choice of words this time.

"Mira thought that your smiling face might be more pleasant for her to look at than his ugly mug." Laxus threw a thumb in Natsu direction as he shot back a look of horror. His jaw was wide as if to ask what he did to deserve such a cheap shot. I struggled to stifle a laugh that caught me off guard. I took Laxus' words as he most likely meant them, I was the friendly face, the diplomatic option before force was needed.

Natsu let an annoyed groan out, it sounded almost primal. My ear perked at the sound, causing me to look over at him "WHO IS SHE?!" Natsu yelled. Laxus looked as if he were half a mind away from slapping Natsu into silence, a look of defeat crossed his face as he obviously came to the decision that we would find out soon enough, "She's my sister, Breeze Dreyar".

Laxus had been telling us what little information he was willing to share about his younger sister Breeze. She has been apart of Fairy Tail since she was a child but Laxus avoided going into detail about why she was living so far away from the guild, and from what I could gather, hadn't stepped into the guild hall once in her life. He did mention that no one knows of her besides Master Makarov, Mirajane and himself. Despite Laxus strategically playing her seclusion off as 'being shy', I think both Natsu and I could see quite clearly through the weak excuse.

I was so engrossed in what Laxus was saying I didn't even realise we'd reached a lovely cottage at the edge of a green valley at the border of Fiore. Laxus signalled us all to stop, and Natsu almost stepped on the back of my heals as he walked, deep in thought. "It's best not to intimidate her, she's quite shy. I'll let her know you're here" Laxus walked to the cottage and opened the unlocked door.

We stood watched from afar as he disappeared into the small house.

"For some reason I think she knew we were coming" Natsu said, his voice was much calmer than it was before. He sat down on the plush grass and crossed his legs, watching the cottage intently for any signs of movement.

"I'm excited to meet her... but I can't help but wonder why now? What had Mirajane so flustered before?" I sat next to Natsu and watched the cottage beside him.

"It is strange, but I'm not surprised. The guild has been around for a while, it's bound to have secrets and she's just one of them " Natsu smirked, it was an excited twist of his lips, one I'd grown to like, "I want to know how strong she is..."

An hour later, in the outskirts of Fiore.

"Hey guys I found some fish!" Happy exclaimed flying over us with a fish he must have caught at a nearby stream. The forest seemed so lush for summer, there must be water running around close by.

"Congrats Happy" Natsu laughed, he laid on his back, hands folded behind his head. He let his eyes flutter closed, his cheek flushing warmed by the sun.

Laxus had been in there for a while, even though Natsu and I were quite anxious to meet her we decided it would be best if we waited outside as instructed, though I had to stop Natsu from peeking through a window when he thought I wasn't looking. So Happy went to find some fish, leaving Natsu and I to mindlessly chatter.

"Do you reckon she looks like Laxus?" Natsu asked, sitting up with his legs crossed, his eyes for the millionth time wandering over to the cottage. He was constantly changing his position on the grass; laying down, sitting up, standing and pacing. I truly admired the energy he had after we had walked hours to get here.

"I assume so" I replied with a shrug, the image of Laxus with long hair didn't sit well with me, but I followed Natsu's gaze back over to the white cottage. I visibly shivered at the thought and Natsu gave me a quick side glance and cocked his eyebrow in confusion. His attention was quickly taken off of me as the handle of the cottage door started to move. Natsu shot up from his seat on the plush grass and stood up straight, He rocked on his heels, but made sure to keep his feet planted in place.

I rolled my eyes at his eagerness and watched Laxus walk out of the door followed by a small figure. As they got closer I realised that the girl following him did look quite similar to Laxus, they had the same hair colour. But instead of a vivid green colour like Laxus's eyes, Breeze's were more of a blueish-grey. She was extremely beautiful, her features were soft and lovely. I couldn't help but think that her personality was most likely the same.

Breeze wore a tight army green tank top and a black skirt that brushed against the skin of he upper thigh, much like mine. A black fitted trench coat over the top was a nice touch and her small black ankle boots suited her outfit perfectly. I couldn't help but twitch in jealousy. She's been living out of society pretty much her whole life and she has a better sense in fashion then I do. I also noticed how Laxus and Breeze both wore coats, despite the weather deeming them unnecessary.

She looked more like a model than a wizard. Her small figure hid behind Laxus as they got closer to us and as it did I could see her grey Fairy Tail mark clearly, resting just above her left breast.

"Hey Natsu, Happy, Lucy, this is Breeze." Laxus pointed at us respectively and as he finished he gave the small girl a soft nudge towards us "Say hi" Laxus's voice was soft and careful, as if he was talking to a child. I couldn't help but notice he had a completely different temperament compared to when we saw him last.

I remembered my role to play and took a step forward, with a smile. "Hi I'm Lucy! It's really nice to meet you! I'm really excited to get to know you!" Even though I knew little about this girl that seemed to be around my own age, I was feeling the same way when I first met Mirajane and Erza only 6 months ago. Excited and honoured.

The girl seemed taken back, her eyes widened slightly, I couldn't tell if she was surprised by my greeting or that I confided I was excited to get to know her. "H-Hello Lucy" she gave a sweet, yet shy smile. Laxus grinned and gave me a nod of approval.

All eyes were on Natsu as he stepped up next to me and opened his mouth to introduce himself.

"HEY BREEZE MY NAME IS NATSU DRAGNEEL AND I'M THE FLAME DRAGON SLAYER!" My eyes went wide at Natsu's greeting... Great first impression Natsu!

(oooh I'm editing this story as I complete the sequel and I just want to apologise for how awful my spelling and grammar is. Pls forgive me.)
