Prologue: Dreamer

It was dark, the light of the lanterns outside fluttered, the wind shook the windows as if it tried to tear its hinges off.
I wasn't able to sleep.
That dream was confusing me. Because it was so... so real.

I was between sky and earth; they changed their position, under me was the sky, over me the earth. Snow was falling, but not like it would do normally – it was falling from earth to the sky.
Suddenly the snowflakes started to spin all around me, took me to somewhere else, I wasn't able to see anything, I felt cold and hot at the same time.
I wanted to escape, I felt totally sick.
As fast as the snow was playing with me like I was an irremovable marionette it stopped and everything was dark around me.
The bright snow blinded me so much that I wasn't able to see anything. I felt lost.
Slowly my sight came back. There was a person standing in front of me, at first I didn't know who he or she was.
The person was smiling, holding something in his hands.
„Manjoume-kun...", he whispered, his voice sounded totally monotonous and light. Surreal.
„It's finally over! We – we are free now!"
I only felt the pain in my arm – then I saw him smiling.
„I am so sorry..."
He was crying and cleared away in a golden light. The blood dripped all over the invisible floor.
My arteries were cut through.
I was unable to scream. The blood covered everything around me. I collapsed, the more death approached, everything around me was getting brighter.
And then an eerie feeling of happiness was flowing through my body – at once I felt deep sorrow... letting them all alone.
