Clementine held back tears as she bit through the fishing line, letting the needle drop against the ground as she picked up the rag she was using for bandages. She couldn't believe this. Why couldn't they just believe her when she said she wasn't bitten? "This day has been the worst..." She was distracted in her thoughts and she dropped the bandage, wincing slightly as she accidentally brushed against the stitches. "Great."

Seriously. Could this day get any worse for her? First she got separated from Christa, who was most likely dead right now. Then she'd come across the dog, and it had attacked her. Bit her. And now these survivors thought the bite was from a lurker, forcing her to steal their supplies and then give herself stitches. She started to lean down to pick up the bandage, screaming as a lurker grabbed her arm through the wall. Unbelievable!

She struggled and jerked herself free, starting to turn and run away from it, tripping and grabbing onto the shelf as it caught her leg. It tightened it's grip and pulled her towards it, trying to bite her...and it pissed her off. After everything she'd gone through today, what she'd just done to save herself...she wasn't going to get bitten now. She kicked at it, pulling away and tripping, turning to glance under the shelf as the lurker pulled itself the rest of the way into the shed.

It threw itself at her, grabbing onto her as she struggled with it, gritting her teeth as she somehow managed to push it off. She didn't hesitate, reaching over to grab a broken brick and then smashing it into the lurker's forward, breaking free long enough to scramble to her feet. She grabbed onto a rake, turning just in time for the lurker to throw itself at her and she caught it on the rake, gritting her teeth as she struggled for a moment before she pushed it backwards.

She heard the sound of flesh being pierced as the lurker slid down on some sort of metal spike that she couldn't name. She felt just a second of satisfaction before it started to struggle, gurgling as it started to push itself up. She saw the hammer out of the corner of her eyes, placed on the shelf where she'd left it. She reached over and wrapped her hand around the tool, bringing the hammer down on the lurker's head as she gritted her teeth together. And then again. And again. And again...and that time the head burst open, blood splattering across her face as the doors to the shed burst open.

"Holy shit...!"

"What the...?"

"How the hell did it get in here?"

"Little girl's tough as nails."

"Are you all right?" She looked at them all, her eyes narrowing and she knew exactly what to say.

"I am Still. NOT. Bitten. I never was. And you left me out here to die."
