A/N Hey guys this Is the sequel to my first ever fanfic Unexpected Reunion. This takes place after Misty goes back to Unova with Ash but gets called back so as to help at the lab. Without further ado…I Do not own Pokémon….and enjoy the story.
Misty's POV
I laid outside in the grass, my notebook and pencil beside me, flipped to the last page I had worked on. We had gotten information from the professor over in the Kalos region on something they called Mega Evolution. Tracey and I had been working on placing the 'Mega Stones' into things other than the Mega Ring. I couldn't stop thinking about a certain raven haired boy. He was do back in a week and I just couldn't wait. I got up gathered my things, shoved them in my bag and headed to Delia's. The wind blew my hair around my waist and it ticked my arms. I reached Delia's front door just as the wind picked up something fierce.
"Delia I'm back from the lab…Delia?" I looked around the empty living room. A note laid on the coffee table. Misty, Mimey and I have run to Viridian for a few thing. We'll be back in two days. Sincerely, Delia
I sat the note back down and walked into the kitchen throwing my bag on the couch on the way. I grabbed a glass out of the cabinet and walked to the fridge. I poured some orange juice and sat down at the kitchen table. On the table laid a note. A note? I just read her note. The note was sealed and said Urgent Open Immediately after Delivery. I cautiously opened the note what was written inside made my heart burst.
Dear Delia and Misty,
I regret to tell you that we are afraid Ash will not be coming home to Pallet Town.
He was in the cave with us when a cave in occurred. He got Pikachu out so we will
be bringing him home to you guys. I am so sorry I had to be the one to tell you two
and through a letter at that. I hope you will be okay I know how hard it must be to read
this and I want to say I hope that if you need anything you will let Cilan or I know. Again
sorry for your lose.

I dropped the note and ran as fast as I could up to the lab. "Professor Oak come quick!" Professor Oak came running out of next room.
"Misty? What is it?" his voice was rapid and short.
"Cilan and Iris sent a letter saying Ash is….is…dead!" I couldn't help it I dropped to the floor and started sobbing.
