~ A Look into Those Hazel Eyes ~
Part One: Chihiro
A look into those hazel eyes
And what do I see?
A useless lump of weakness
Staring back at me
A look into those hazel eyes
To whom do they belong?
A little girl in a cold, cruel world
Singing a dying song
A look into those hazel eyes
Are you really who you are?
I'm not even sure of that
I push away the question far
A look into those hazel eyes
So weak, so wide, so sad!
My one true wish is to be strong
And I want that really bad
A look into those hazel eyes
Widening above a pout
On reading evil Monobear's note
That "Your secrets will be out!"
A look into those hazel eyes
As they glisten wet with tears
Threatening to get ripped out
What's been buried over years
A look into those hazel eyes
The brain in a radical whirl
"Instead of wearing a boy's clothes
Chihiro dresses as a girl!"
Part Two: Mondo
I see her coming down the hall
The girl so sweet and nice
She brings her head up, then I see
Her pretty hazel eyes
She wishes to be stronger
Her hazel eyes begin to weep
We decide to train together
While the others are asleep
A look into those hazel eyes
Divulge so much of the truth
Being a girl has been a lie
And she has patted it down smooth
A look into those hazel eyes
And what do I see?
Strength, courage, will to change
She is so much unlike me
I'm looking at those hazel eyes
As my anger reaches its peak
"You'll never be as strong as me!
Chihiro, you are weak!"
I'm looking at those hazel eyes
As envy takes control
One good blow is all it takes
Now she lies upon the floor
I'm looking at those hazel eyes
As her life's blood drains away
A final smile is what is left
While her whole world turns to gray
A look into those hazel eyes
And what do I see?
Nothing, because they're now both closed
And a question points to me
What exactly have I done
To the girl with the hazel eyes?
It was all petty jealousy
Did she deserve this vile surprise?
Save for regret I'm powerless
We're now a world apart
I can only hold her close
And draw her to my heart.
(ChiMondo forever!)
