I had a dream.
A dream where I was in a rundown house. It felt stuffy and it didn't have a pleasant smell to it.
I was lying on the floor, I guess, but I remembered getting up and rushing out for some room to breathe.
What I got instead was a field of flowers. It was so great to see compared to the torn insides of that old house. I might have been by the ocean, and it smelled so fresh, even in the dream.
"Too bad it was just a dream."
Yes, but the image is burned into my head, and that smell was just so wonderful; even with the hint of salt.
"What about the flowers?"
I could smell those too, of course! It mixed well with the fresh scent of the ocean. Oh, I wish I could dream with others; you should've seen it, Ike!
"I'm sure we can find a place like that in this world. We can even have it made if we ask nice enough."
Yes, but just to be thrown in by surprise was what made it so special; to go from a crumpling home to a beautiful field...
"Then you just go back to sleep, Marth. Maybe the dream will continue."
I hope so. I really do hope so.

Ike took out the small bottle Peach had given him labelled "Garden aura" yesterday. Earlier, he had come back to his room in a sweaty state. Marth was already asleep, and when he sat by the bedside that night, he could hear Marth moan and groan in displeasure. Ike took a whiff of himself. Wow, the smell of sweat was strong! He quickly tested out the bottle of cologne; the princess insisted he use it tonight. A small spray, and bam! He smelled like a bouquet... no... a FIELD of flowers. He snuggled up to Marth right after, grinning as the royal made a slight smile back at him without waking up.
Sweet dreams, my prince.

A/N: I'd imagine smells can make you dream strange things... and this is what I think sweat and cologne could trigger. Sorry for poor fiction again...
