I Don't Own Harry Potter.

Author's Note: This is how I think Lily and Hugo's conversation could have went in the Epilogue.

On the morning of September 1st, 2017, all of the students of Hogwarts were at King's Cross station with their families. Nine year old Hugo Weasley came with his mother and father, Hermione and Ron, to see his eleven year old sister, Rose, off.

Through the smoke from the train he could see his cousins, Albus and Lily, and their parents, Harry and Ginny, heading towards them.

"Hi," Albus sighed when he got to Rose. He looked immensely relieved to see her.

Harry and Ron took Albus's owl and trunk onto the train.

"Hi Hugo!" Lily said brightly as she approached him. They're the same age and best friends.

"Hi Lil!" He replied, beaming at her.

They both looked in awe at the Hogwarts Express.

"Oh, I wish we could go this year!" Lily whined, stamping her foot.

"What house do you think you'll be in?" Hugo interrupted quickly. He'd learned if you cut Lily off early on, you could avoid a major explosion.

"Gryffindor, duh!" Lily laughed. "What other house could we be put in?"

"There are three other houses," Hugo answered smiling.

"I know, but come on; most of our family has been in Gryffindor. The only ones who haven't are Dominique and Molly, and I don't think I could be in Ravenclaw," Lily said making a face.

"What about Hufflepuff?" Hugo asked.

"What about it?" Lily laughed.

"I wouldn't mind being sorted there," Hugo mumbled.

"What? No one actually wants to be sorted into Hufflepuff!" Lily said incredulously.

"Maybe I do!" Hugo said making a face at her.

"Why?" Lily asked, genuinely confused.

"Teddy's mom was in Hufflepuff, and you've heard how awesome she was," Hugo said looking up thinking. "And Teddy was in Hufflepuff, and he'd always talk about how cool all the people were in there.

"And Hufflepuff's for hard working, loyal, patient people who follow the rules. How's that a bad thing? It would be a great house to be in!"

"I never thought about it," Lily said thinking. "I guess I wouldn't mind being put there either."

They smiled at each other.

"But you know your dad really likes Gryffindor," Lily laughed. "What would he say if you weren't in there?"

As if on queue, Ron came up to them.

"If you're not in Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you," he said, "but no pressure."

Lily and Hugo laughed as Hermione yelled "Ron!"

After the train pulled away with their siblings and cousins on it, Hugo smiled at Lily.

"We might find out in two years"

Author's Note: They must have considered some of the other houses in there conversation. I highly doubt they only would consider Gryffindor.

"I think I'll be in Gryffindor!"

"Me too!"

"Yay!"

There had to have been some sort of conversation, and I love the idea of them considering Hufflepuff :)
