"But…it's purple," Jack said, a tiny hint of outrage in his voice.
Bobby looked down at the offending object in his hands.
"So?" he asked with a puzzled frown.
"It had to be purple?" Jack gestured to the bear in front of him.
Bobby laughed. "I figured a fairy like you would want a purple one."
Jack huffed, annoyed by the insult.
Bobby studied the look on Jack's face. "I just thought, y'know, you said…"
He looked down at the stuffed teddy bear in his hands.
"I just wanted to give you something, I dunno, like a happy thought."
Jack smiled. "You are my happy thought, Bobby" he said as he pulled him close.
"And I love the bear, purple color not withstanding."
