Moonlight Shadow a Shikamaru Nara oneshot

"Hey, Mom, I'm going out for a run." I said, walking out the door.

"Amaya! It's ten o'clock at night!" I heard her yell as I shut the door.

I didn't care. This was a safe town. No freaks... well there are, but not dangerous freaks. Ten minutes passed before I came to my destination. When I saw someone laying underneath my tree, I stopped dead in my tracks. My eyes narrowed into a glare as I stomped over to the man with a spiky black ponytail.

"Hey!" I yelled, "That's my spot!" He didn't move. I looked around and picked up a stick. As I crouched down to poke him with my weapon, he stirred.

"Troublesome. I was trying to sleep." The black haired man mumbled.

"Well go sleep somewhere else!" I ordered

"Is this your tree?" He asked.

"Yes, yes it is." I replied coldly

"I don't see your name."

I pointed to a spot just above his head.

"Amaya. Pretty name." He stated.

"Well you know my name, so how about yours?" I asked.

"Hmm, Shikamaru. Pleased to meet you. Now get your ass out of my spot!" I glared at him.

"Fine, fine." He scooted over.

"Thanks." I sat down next to him. "You're not from around here, are you?"

"How'd you guess?" He answered my question with a question.

"Well, you look about 16 or 17 and I've never seen you at school before." I explained.

"You're right. I'm 17, and I'm just passing through." He said, eyes closed.

"You're a year older than me!" I pouted.

"Nothing I can do about it. Can I sleep now?" Shikamaru asked opening one eye.

"Yeah, yeah. I gotta go anyway. My mom will probably call the cops if I don't get home soom." I stood and turned away. "Bye."

"Amaya." As soon as I turned around, I couldn't move.

"What the hell?!" I shouted.

"One thing before you leave." He started walking toward me and I walked toward him.

"What the hel?!" I repeated. He stopped walking when we were a few inches from each other. He was a few inches taller than my 5' 2". He leaned down and kissed me lightly on my lips. My eyes widened. As soon as it started, it ended. He disappeared suddenly and I noticed I could move.

"SHIKAMARU! YOU BASTARD!" I yelled, then whispered, "You stole my first kiss!"

I trudged home and fell on my bed and was asleep instantly. When I woke up I woke up I layed in bed for an hour. When I got up from my bed I had decided last night had just been a dream. Just a dream.

Yes, I know, crappy ending...yay for DDR songs! cuz that's how I got the title and a plot for this song! The song is nothing like the story, but the title reminded me of Shika...yay. Yosh! I finished one of my like 12 stories! yay!
