Chapter 1: I Owe You Remember
JACOB POV
"Happy birthday Nessi" I said handing her my present.
Her face lit up. "Thanks Jakey!" She squealed.
Nessi was turning 4 years old. Time has gone by quick.
Edward heard my thoughts and smiled. "Yes it has, yes it has...." he let the thought trail off obviously in deep thoughts of his own. "Jacob?"
"Yeah Edward?" I asked.
He smiled, what was with his mood? " Remember I still owe you."
"Yeah but don't worry about it. You let us play in the fight" I said smiling.
"Yes but that doesn't mean I don't owe you anymore, I got you something" he said.
What he got ME something? WOW. I followed him into their GINORMOUS garage until he stopped and pointed and a slick black car.
"You're giving me a car, a MERSADIES GARDIAN?" I said in awe. Who was this person?
"Well it was Bella's car BEFORE she was one of us" he said . "It still has her human scent."
"Her human scent?" What did he mean by that? And this car was Bella's? WOW i was surprised she didn't wreck it.
"Well I saw how much she meant to you, especially when she was human, so I saved it for you" he answered.
Wow now I was scared. Who was he. He was being NICE to ME. HE was giving me a car, and letting me live? "Well thanks Edward!" He was being nice to me and not even showing how much he wanted me dead. I wasn't sure he was even a vampire anymore, but the smell gave it away.
He smiled and whispered " I'm still a vampire."
WOW I might be able to live in the same world with this guy and without killing him!
He laughed a little and said, "You're not SO bad dog."
We walked back into the house to join the rest of the party.
"Nice car" Embry was sitting cross legged on the floor next to Seth. I was glad he and Seth came, the rest of the pack was okay with the vampires just not with the smell. I didn't blame them this place smelled BAD.
"Thanks, you wana go for a ride Nessi? I asked turning towards her. She was sitting next to Edward and Carlise on the couch.
She grinned then turned to Edward. "Can I go daddy? PLEASE"
He smiled and said "sure Nessi go ahead." she jumped down and ran into my arms.
"Embry, you coming?" I asked.
"Sure" he answered jumping up of the floor.
We said good bye and left.
"Wow, Why in the hell did Edward give you a car?" Embry asked.
I shrugged I didn't know why exactly. "He owed me."
"Oh, okay" he said nodding.
"Where do you wana go Nessi" I asked her . she was sitting on my lap staring out the window.
She turned and said "park, park, park she said clapping her hands. "I love the park."
"Me too" I said.
When we got to the park Nessi got out and clapped her hands together. "Hey you" said a voice" you with the stolen car."
I had to smile. I turned and standing a couple yards way was Lizzie, the girl I meet last time I was here. "Hi Lizzie."
She laughed and walked closer. "So, who's car did you steal time?"
"Mine" I answered.
"Right"
"The guy I barrowed the car from last time gave me this one"
"Right" Lizzie smiled.
"Hey, OH yah, Lizzie this is Embry and Nessi" I said.
"Oh so you stole a kid" she said still joking.
"No this is the guys kid that gave me this car"
"uh huh" she turned to look at Embry."Hi I'm Lizzie"
"UH hi" he answered.
