I was waiting for my sister's piano lesson to finish and this was the result. :3
"Perfect."
As a small, yet genuine smile played the girl's lips, Kairi let her fingers fall back onto the ivory keys, her eyes running the piece of music through her head like a wound-up music box.
Her fragile fingers danced up and down the cold keys, creating an almost haunting melody that echoed through the room.
Just as she was about to conclude the piece, her fingers tripped up on a B flat, causing her smile to evanesce as she sighed.
"What's with this song?" she huffed, throwing her hands at the piano to create a crash at the keys.
"Why'd you stop playing?"
Leaning against the frame of the door stood a brown-haired blue-eyed boy that she knew all too well.
"Oh, Sora," breathed the girl, snatching the piece of music off the stand. "It's these dumb accidentals."
The boy laughed as he drew closer to the piano, taking a seat at the bench next to her.
"Well, if they're just accidents, then you don't have to get that mad about 'em. After all, they're just mistakes."
The red head giggled as she stared back at the reflection on the piano, revealing a picturesque sight of her and Sora.
"No, silly. Accidentals aren't accidents. They're intentionally there and are supposed to happen. You see, in a piece like this, the com—"
Suddenly, the girl's face was touched softly with a warm, tingling sensation as Sora leaned in, pecking her lightly on the cheek.
The boy pulled back, his face, too, lit up in red.
"..You know how accidentals can be."
