6:14PM Saturday
Harry Ginny Teddy and new baby James Sirius were arriving at the Burrow for the first time, half of Ginny s family had not yet seen baby James only the women and Mr. Weasley. Harry and Ginny made their way through the knee-high snow with James sleeping in Ginny s arms, and Teddy riding on Harry s back. The door was flung open before they got there by Mrs. Weasley who squealed when she saw them and took sleeping James from Ginny.
Grand mummy s baby boy! Come to meet everyone! Harry and Ginny looked at each other and smile as Molly talked to James in a baby voice, and ushered them through the door.
All of the family had been in the livingroom sitting and talking about Hermione and Ron s new engagement and dates for the wedding. They had no clue Ginny would be out of St. Mungo s Hospital only 1 a day after giving birth and were so surprised to hear Mrs. Weasley talking to Harry as they made their way to the livingroom. Everyone seemed to jump at the same time from where they were sitting to where Harry, Ginny Teddy and Mrs. Weasley stood they all gasped and Ron was the first to speak Ginny he s friggen adorable! I was hoping he wouldn t take after you because...well look at you! But that made him cuter. George and Bill sniggered but everyone else hit him. They spent the evening passing little James around. And by 8 Ginny was ready to pass out she was so tired
8:26PM Saturday
Harry and Ginny made their way to Ginny s old room to get some well-needed rest, Molly had set up a crib for James beside Ginny s bed and that where he was now sleeping. As Harry and Ginny climbed in bed Ginny stepped on something and cursed quite loudly and that provoked James very high pitched loud cry to ring for the first time that night,
I Got him love, go on to sleep you need some rest Harry told Ginny as he picked James up and sat on the bed rocking him to sleep and murmuring soft comforting words to his son.
10:39PM Saturday Hungry.
11:56PM Saturday Needed clean diaper.
1:11AM Sunday He wanted to be rocked.
2:49AM Sunday Hungry again.
3:45AM Sunday Harry honestly had no idea (and he was too tired to figure it out)
4:36AM Sunday He wanted his Dad.
5:15AM Sunday Harry woke up to find himself on the floor and Ginny stretched out taking the whole Queen-sized bed so Harry decided to stay up and get a cup of coffee and Hmm...perhaps even sleep on the couch.(Smart bloke you are Harry) he thought as he made his way to the kitchen but the second he added the cream to his coffee he heard it - James was up AGAIN! Harry rushed up the stairs hoping that Ginny (or any other Weasley for that matter) was not woken because she had a red hot temper and you did not want to mess with a Weasley who got woke at 5 in the morning.
5:17AM Sunday Harry made it to Ginny's room just in time to hear James' crying stop and Ginny humming a tune that Harry knew but couldn't quite remember the name. He walked in and saw James and Ginny curled up in the chair in front of Ginny's vanity, he smiled as he looked at the beautiful family he had. "Hey Ginny, I can take him go on back to bed." Harry said quietly trying not to wake the asleep again James "No, No thats okay I wa-... Why are you up this early anyways Harry?" Ginny asked looking confused. "I woke up so many times last night, once every hour and then when I never heard him this hour and I guess sub-conciously I got worried, oh and I woke up on the floor. You must of pushed me off" Ginny giggled then wispered "Fatherly instincts" They went to sleep with James in the bed between them.
5:25AM Sunday James woke up again but before either of them had done anything James realised where he was and that the two farmiliar faces of Mum and Dad were both there with him and drifted off to sound peaceful sleep with Mummy and Daddy
