They lost.

Seirin lost.

As they shook hand with the victors, countless expression of the team can be seen.

Depressed. Anger. Disappointment.

And most of all, hurt.

Kuroko Tetsuya have been mentally crushed by his former captain.

His eyes reflected his pain obviously.

They were empty and lifeless as they stared at each other's gaze.

I have lost. Lost the meaning of my life , my identity and failed my team.

Days at Seirin continued as usual. They tried to cheer Kuroko up in vain.

It was useless.

Kuroko just isn't the same anymore.

Kagami pitied his shadow. When he saw how hurt his shadow was, even he felt a pang of pain in his heart.

He wanted to protect his shadow.

However, he was too late.

The next following day, they found a resignation letter from Kuroko. He was nowhere to be found.

Seirin felt sad at themselves and recalled back the last time they saw the shadow.

He was saying goodbye to the team with a smile plastered on his face.

Seirin felt stupid.

Why didn't they notice the obvious hint, they thought to themselves.

They tried finding him everywhere, even to the point of investigating his house.

It was then they found that Kuroko is actually an abandoned child.

His house was empty, left except a little worn out diary that has some kid's handwriting.

In that diary, they had revealed the truth of their beloved teammate.

They lost hope in finding him back, except for Kagami that is determined to find him back.

A few days after Kuroko's disappearance, the GOM appeared, requesting for Kuroko's presence.

Seirin felt anger.

How dare they still face Kuroko

Kagami uncontrollably spilled out the truth.

Each member of the GOM had different reaction.

Kurokochii wouldn't do that! He'll come for my help if he did!

Oi, shut up, Kise. Like hell Tetsu will run to you. Bakagami, this is a joke, right?

Oha-Asa said that Aquaries will have bad luck this month...

Ne, Aka-chin, what happened to Kuro-chin? Please say you kidnapped him...

No, Atsushi, I did not Kidnap Tetsuya.

In any case, if what Taiga said is true, we should hurry and find Tetsuya.

A punch landed on Akashi's face and everyone froze.

No one had ever laid their hand on Akashi, and Kagami is the first to do so.

Why do you care?

After a moment of silence from Akashi, he uncharacteristically apologized.

You're right. It's none of my business. Come on, let's go.

The other members wanted to protest, but they value their life.

And the GOM left.

The next day, Kagami found a letter addressed to him.

Thank you, Kagami-kun.

"That's what friends are for, right?" Kagami grinned and held a fist up, as if Kuroko was there.

Ironically, he felt Kuroko's presence bumping his fist.

"Heh."

I wanted to write a fully story actually...but i got lazy and writing a full story on phone is a pain in the ass so I decided to do this one-shot.

Hope you enjoy!

If you like the story, do review :)

or if you have any request, feel free to do so xD

Do you think I should make this into a full story? I find one-shots really nice and full of feels~
