Wow it's been a very long time since I last posted something on here. Right this is a one shot that came from the idea that my sister came up with after she watched The Boondock Saints 1 and 2. You can review this if you like because I'm thinking about carrying on with story. Btw I am a little dyslexic, so if I have mess up on some of writing please forgive me. other then that enjoy my one shot and tell me what you think.

Little Molly never really gave it any thought on why her mother, Evelyn would send her up stairs to her room whenever her father Elliot came home after having one to many to drink. All she ever heard was her father shouting and her mother begging him to keep his voice down. Molly never dared to go down those stairs to see why they were fighting. She was to busy watching over her little baby sister Annie, who was crying because of the noise.

"It's alright Annie. Mummy will be back up here in no time." Molly said in a hush tone.

Annie fell back to sleep with no trouble, unlike Molly who could still hear her father's voice. This became a normal thing to happen at Molly's house for the next few months.

Evelyn was in the middle of telling a story about her Grandfather and his friend, when she heard Elliot opening the front door.

"Molly can you go check on Annie for me. Don't worry I'll be up in a few minutes." She asked with a little worry in her voice.

Molly did as her mother asked without question. Annie was fast asleep but Molly had a feeling that it was going to be for long. Like clock work her father started shouting at her mother over god only knows, it was when she heard her mother crying again she knew that she had to do something. Molly knew she couldn't stop him her-self and she knew that her mother wouldn't want to put her in harms way. Looking over to Annie, whose eyes were running, she came up with an idea. Getting her hands on her note book, she set to work on a letter to her Grandfather's friend

Mr Duke.

I don't want to be a pain but I really need your help. My dad keeps making my mum cry which wakes Annie up. I just want him to stop shouting at her. I can't ask him to stop because he is never around and when he is mum sends me to my bedroom. I think he has been hurting mum too, the other day there was a red mark by her eye. she said it was nothing. My mum has told me a lot about you and Grandad and I know you can help. I just want dad to stop making everybody upset.

Please help.

Molly.

Here is where I start to worry about what people are going to say. I hope you enjoyed it and if you have any questions then you can ask.
