'Thought or lyrics'
Blue ink bled slowly down soft tan skin, stroke after stroke, symbol after symbol, word after word, bitter laughter after near insanity tears.
'And now I'm alone. In the darkness.' The lyrics blared in the silent rush of his head. Written down without a second thought.
The song continued and ended, bringing another in its wake. He paused and waited for lyrics to join the tune in his head, before writing down the ones he liked.
The broken blue inked pen he used was running low. He'd need to get another one.
More lyrics went on such as 'Save me, from my rage and my humanity.' And ' 'My shadow's the only one that walks beside me' were ignored as songs came and went on the mini mp3 player of Naruto's head.
Three more songs and he's stop, he told himself. Anymore and Kyuubi wouldn't be able to take the poisoning of the ink.
The First of the last of the songs came and went. The words ' I'm a loser baby. So why don't you kill me?' inked to his skin in its memory.
The second song left mostly the same way. More lyrics with an angst bite imprinted on his thigh.
The final song was a very good one, where the words 'The razors and the dieing roses. Plead I don't leave you alone.' stuck out like a white on black.
And just as he put his pen up, just as the player in head was to stop. Another song popped up.
The tune was delicate and simple. The tone of voice was monotone at best and the words were more mumbled then sung. Maybe slurred too.
Though he heard them loud and clear.
' Kyuubi is gonna kill me' was all he thought before he picked up the pen and sketchily wrote the lyrics on his skin.
