Dylan opened her eyes slowly and rubbed the sleep out of them.
She groaned when she saw what time it was… 6:00 AM!
She wondered why she was awake so early on a Sunday morning.
Looking around herself, she saw the reason.
Her mom, Merri-Lee was standing, hands on hips, right next to Dylan's bed.
Merri-Lee had hip length wavy red hair.
Her bright green eyes looked especially cat-like this morning as her full red lips stretched into a huge smile.
She held up her hands in an inquiring position.
Then, in her high sing-songy voice, she asked, "J'adore my outfit?"
Dylan looked closer at her mom and saw what her mom meant.
Merri Lee had gone French.
The French Connection Ruffle Skirt complimented the French Connection Stripe Knit Blouse.
Merri Lee's hair looked elegant thanks to an Extra Large Bow Headband in black that was holding her hair in a perfect hairstyle.
The Hammered Drop Earrings matched her French Connection Multi Scarf.
The French Connection Multi Bead Necklace hung across her pale neck as she walked across the room in her French Connection Jess Ruffle Heeled Sandals.
Her makeup illustrated Merri Lee's high cheekbones.
Long white gloves reached up to her elbows, as her hands clutched her brand new Slouchy Shoulder Bag in Snake Reed.
The whole outfit must've been at least 608.00$
"Whoa mom, what's up with the whole style switch?" Dylan exclaimed, quickly slipping out of bed to stand and better examine her mother's new outfit.
Merri Lee's smile widened and she smoothed her blouse.
"I just bought it all this morning, and guess who else is going shopping today?"
Merri Lee paused for a few seconds and then giggle announced "You!"
Dylan raised her eyebrows and retorted, "I go shopping everyday, mom."
Her mom laughed and said, "But today is different…"
Dylan sighed and rolled her eyes. "I wish you'd just stop making all these dumb cliffhangers. Just tell me why this time is different."
Merri Lee's laugh faded and she replied, "Well, honey… you get to choose 5 friends to go with you on the trip of your lifetime!"
Dylan paused mid eye roll and asked suspiciously, "Where are we going?"
Merri Lee threw her hands in the air and announced loudly, "Dylan honey, we're going to France!"
Dylan immediately put her hands on her chest and screamed for a full two minutes.
"Ehmagawd! Ehmagawd! Ehmagawd!"
Merri Lee scurried from the room, hands pressed hard to her ears.
I cannot wait to tell the NPC about this! We're going to France. Eh. Ma. Gawd.
